Reviews
The menu is fairly extensive, but the choices are well balanced and not overwhelming. We ordered the chicken croffle, berries pancake, crab cake Benedict, and tom yum scramble, along with Thai iced tea, coffee, and lemonade.
Despite the restaurant being at full capacity, our food arrived pretty quickly. The dishes were unique, and delicious. Presentation also good. Service was friendly and efficient throughout the visit.
Price-wise, it’s on the higher side, but the quality and creativity of the food make it worthwhile. My advice is to come early to avoid long wait times and enjoy a smoother dining experience.
Expensive but what isn’t around these parts? Definitely worth the visit.
4 stars because the silverware was dirty and we had to ask for new ones. Also, they offer those small little creamers but if you ask they do have real milk.
Update: Taste and Glory is hands down one of my favorite brunch places in the bay area. This time around, my partner and I ordered a more basic omelet as well as the crab cake eggs benedict and the thai tea. Both of the food items were delicious and cooked really well. They are plated well and really feel complete. In addition, the drinks are always so good here and have so much flavor. The thai tea was actually very tea forward and not too creamy. Food here and service here are both 10/10. I really appreciate all of their attention to detail here.
Location:
Located on El Camino Real near Hobart Ave (12th Ave), right across from a strip of apartments. There’s street parking out front and additional parking in the rear.
They’ve set up a small black extendable divider outside for busy hours — since there’s not much room to wait once you step inside. If you see a line, you’ll need to wait outside until it’s your turn. It’s first come, first serve, and the whole party must be present before being seated.

Visit Experience:
A friend from the Bay Area recommended this spot, so we came on a Saturday morning for brunch before heading out on a Napa winery trip. When we arrived, there was already a line of people waiting! It looks like they might have two connected dining areas, but it still gets packed quickly.
⸻
Service:
The staff and servers were super friendly and helpful. Service speed was impressive — our food arrived in under 5 minutes even though the restaurant was full!

️ What We Ordered:
• Chicken Croffle – Hands down one of the best chicken & waffle (croffle) dishes I’ve ever had — even better than the famous Poppy + Rose in LA! The sauce that came with it was incredibly good (wish I knew what it was!).
• Tom Yum Scramble – A croissant filled with Dungeness crab, mushrooms, and potatoes, all flavored with a Tom Yum twist. Such a creative and tasty fusion combo.
• Ribeye Steak with Eggs – Simple but solid! The steak was tender, flavorful, and pre-cut, making it easy to enjoy.
I’ve also heard that their Crème Brûlée French Toast is a must-try next time!

⭐ Overall:
A top-notch, highly recommended brunch spot for anyone visiting or living in the Bay Area. Perfect for a chill weekend brunch with friends or loved ones — great food, friendly staff, and quick service all around.
It’s a fun fusion restaurant/brunch, although it does get pretty crowded. I’m sure long lines form here, but I went at a good time and got a seat fairly quickly (less than 6 mins)
Would definitely come again, even if a little on the pricey side
(I ordered the Dungeness omelette, behind is the Thai French toast bread, super sweet and good, and I forgot what the other 2 plates were)
Our server noticed our table was wobbling a little bit and fixed it right away. Great service and very friendly.
Drinks were ok might try their Thai ice tea instead next time.
Ordered promptly after being seated we knew what we wanted, while we were waiting to be seated. Has the basil ribeye and the crab cake Benedict and a creme brûlée French toast for dessert.
Drinks came out right away within 3 minutes and food was pretty fast both the ribeye and crab cakes Benedict came out within 10 minutes or so.
Ribeye is cooked to medium dont think you can change the doneness but it was very delicious. The rice as very fragrant and perfect sunny side up egg.
Crab cake Benedict with a sriracha chipotle hollandaise sauce was tasty nice and crispy crab cake and not too fishy taste or smell.
Definitely would ordered these 2 again.
French toast we ordered right before last call it wasn’t that good. Just a thick pastry creme type sauce slathered on subpar French toast with some sugar brûlée on top. With some fresh berries and walnuts. I wouldn’t recommend ordering this.
Bathrooms was spacious and clean.
Accepts American Express also split bills.
