I stopped at the Subway on Dauphin Island while passing through because I was hungry and needed a quick snack. The place was pretty busy — even a police officer was there getting lunch — but despite the crowd, the service was excellent.
There was only one employee working the Subway section inside the gas station, and she was incredibly fast, reliable, and efficient. She kept the line moving quickly, and everyone seemed satisfied with how smoothly things were going. I was truly impressed with how well she handled the rush all by herself.
The food was good, the customer service was great, and the wait time was much shorter than expected. So if you’re passing through and you see a line, don’t worry — it moves fast. It’s a great spot to grab a quick and tasty sub on the go.

Sign says they close at 9 but the little girl at night says she closes at 8:45 yet at 8:30 was sitting outside smoking. Then proceeds to go back inside to make her little boyfriend a sandwich. They really need to hire better staff, honestly.

Can’t rate the food. The old lady never spoke to me. After standing there 7 or 8 minutes. Never even looked at me. If your busy ok. Atleast acknowledge people standing 3 feet infront of you

Just had the pleasure of having “Ann Marie” make my sandwich. If she is making it don’t bother.after she all but rolled her eyes when I rang the bell for service after standing there for about 5 minutes. She almost toasted my sandwich at the wrong time. Then I politely asked for salt and she literally dumped it on. Meanwhile the whole time she has a “I don’t want to be here” and a very grimacing look to her. She didn’t say thank you and was about as polite as a child. If she doesn’t want to be there maybe she shouldn’t be. Won’t be coming back here. There is literally a pound of salt on my sandwich

They were advertised as open until 10:00pm. We arrived at 9:20 and they told us they were closed. The convenience store employees are very rude. My daughter grabbed a bottle of wine from my hand and put it on their counter and they told us they couldn’t serve us because “a child brought it to her”. She said she wasn’t going to be able to sell us anything because of that. Ridiculous and uncalled for.

Sandwich was fresh and tasty. Took about 40 min for an online order which was understandable cause they were very busy.
I would come back. I’ll just prepare for a longer wait time next time.

I am a long time customer of this subway because I work on the island the guy taking the orders did not change his gloves after he touched his personal cellphone I thought that was very unsanitary and the girl putting the veggies and condiments on the sandwich I asked for mustard on three of my sandwiches and she put one little dot on the end of the sandwich I asked for more and she a another dot at the other end of the sandwich she also put two banana peppers two cucumbers and two jalapeños on a 6in sub right in the middle as I said before I am a loyal customer but I will not be returning to this location.

I went this Saturday and had a bad experience with the lady. Whenever she was reaching to grab something from the back of the food line, her chest part of her shirt got all over my sandwich. I really did not want to do it, but I told the other guy there what happened and asked for a remake. When he told the lady she called me “rude and wasteful.” I too work in food service and I know how it feels to have to remake something during a rush, but take better precautions and things like this would not happen. Also, wait until the customer has left to say something inappropriate about them.
