This place is an absolute gem! If I was local I’d go here all the time. It is much more pleasant than what Birmingham and Auburn coffee shops have had to offer in recent years. It’s very beautiful and cozy. Soft instrumental Christian music playing and very cool 1940’s and 1950’s car restoration themes. The coffee is great, we had the 1949 and DIY both large and hot and it was fantastic. They have books and board games available while you enjoy your drink / food. The service was friendly and efficient. Keep up the great work!

Patronized this wonderful coffee shop twice with my husband while visiting his mother. We try to find local places on our travels. From the moment we parked, we knew this was a local gem! Day one we got the 1949 and the True Value. Day 2 we had the Nuts and Bolts and the Irish Delight(seasonal). Both days my husband has a the cheese and fruit claw. The coffee is fresh ground. Menu is small but that allows for a more unique array of flavors and adds to the experience. This place is a must go! Love the old cars, furniture, and history behind the building. Staff is amazing! Both ladies at the counter remembered us from 2 days prior. This place makes you want to stay for hours. Games and puzzles available to relax and enjoy your time.

Love this place! My husband and I come here to have our day dates. They have a small menu of food that includes a variety of muffins. Their drink menu also has a variety of drinks that can be made with several options of milk alternatives. The atmosphere is usually quiet. The restored cars, lounge couches and chairs make for a good environment for someone studying, talking, meeting or simply just enjoying a drink. For the majority of the staff to be young adults/teenagers, the customer service is exceptional! We drive 30minutes and past several coffee shops just to get here so that tells you how much we like it!! Sidenote: if you get the matcha, try it with pistachio syrup, good Lord it’s delicious!!

My 2nd time visiting this place. Wow… Love it the coffee and the pastries were super delicious! The staff was super friendly, and the owner was ‘available’ and spoke with me for a few moments which was really nice!
Would love to have a place like this, in my home town here in Oklahoma.
Keep up the great work y’all!!!

I make trips to Tallassee just to get the 1949 from here. Literally the best latte I’ve ever had. The staff is incredible. Every time I go in there are several people studying, playing board games, crocheting on the couch, or relaxing. You can tell everyone is super comfortable there, and it’s hard not to be with all the comfy couches. The interior is unique and absolutely beautiful. I hope this place is around for a long time.
