I went on a Tuesday evening which was slow, but I still had a great experience!
The food was delicious, especially the mushrooms which I think was my favorite of the items I had. But all the items were great! The chef certainly knows how to cook a great meal.
The dessert was a lot larger than I expected, which I’m not complaining about! But it was a surprise after all the small plates
I also had a wonderful conversation with the server, so I can vouch that they hire good people here.

We visited for my wife’s birthday. Started with a specialty old fashioned which was delicious. The courses were timed well and the options were all tempting. Local lions mane mushrooms, beats, turnip, oysters, duck and fettuccine were all prepared perfectly. Wonderful experience from start to finish. The portions for all course were perfect. They were more than a taste and enough to share. The main course of duck was wonderfully prepared but the 2 silver dollar sized peices did leave me wanting more.
Plenty of room at the 2 bars for walk ins on a Friday. Traffic didn’t pick up until 7 or so.

Our meal was outstanding! We loved the small plate format and were completely full by dessert. It was great to speak with the chef and to have local foods. Would definitely eat there again!

The portions were all well sized, and the flavors were easy to recognize and not overdone. The menu changes regularly, as they prefer to cook local foods as they are in season, so it always feels like a new adventure whenever you go!
It was more of a comfy atmosphere than romantic, but we both went home with full bellies and had a great time!

Eli the chef was excellent. He prepared the entire restaurant patrons entrées that night and did it pleasantly and skillfully. We sat at the “bar”in back which wasn’t romantic or scenic since the windows faced the river and it was the official”kitchen” area and there were cooking items on the seals of windows so couldn’t see out that but well the chef made it all worthwhile with his excellent delicious dishes and we left completely satisfied. If you want a date night table ask when you reserve.

Absolutely delicious meal at the chef’s bar. Between us, my wife and I had the baby kale salad, cheese course, grilled oyster mushrooms, fried cauliflower, pierogies, mushroom fettuccine, and the brisket. Every dish was outstanding. Highly recommend going!

We have had many tasting menus in our day and this is definitely one of the best. Every single dish was amazing, drinks were unique and the portions were perfect. The waitress/bartender was top notch and the chef even came out to greet us. If you’re looking for a fun and delicious experience this is the place!

The food was mediocre at best. The small plate menu is just that. Very small portions. Our bartender was also our waitress so drinks and service came slowly. Not her fault at all. We enjoy good food and great service. We probably won’t return.

This place was cute; 4.3/5 stars. The menu is small and changes often. I liked that detail. You get 4 plates for $59 and they are small plates so if you hungry make sure to get at least 3 of the 4. The potato soup was my favorite part of the experience. It was filling and flavorful. The monkfish could have used some salt and a bit more love. Cocktails 10/10. The pork belly was also good because it was a citrusy base so it was a nice mix with the fatty pork. Def recommended if you’re looking for seasonal small menu, with a touch of local products
