Our journey began in the heart of downtown San Diego, where we spent years cooking side by side with our dedicated team. Together, we crafted our unique ‘New-School’ Mediterranean approach—blending the rich traditions of Mediterranean cooking with fresh, familiar ingredients and a passion for authentic, genuine service. Our mission has always been to create unforgettable experiences for everyone who walks through our doors, redefining Mediterranean cuisine in a way that’s both approachable and exciting for all.

We highly recommend The Kebab Shop for both the quality of the food and the outstanding service.
It’s a great corner spot, inside is bright with pops of red and a really cool wall art of their og location.
The service is fantastic! The person at the register was super helpful and sweet! Angel came over and checked on me a few times while I was eating!
What I ordered:
Wrap: I got the San Diego wrap with chicken, added some saffron rice and hummus. Every thing was seasoned perfectly, you can taste things separately as well as how it meld together. (If that makes sense, I hope it does. Or is my taste buds weird?) The chicken was seasoned and cooked perfectly, the saffron rice just added that extra flavor, the fries were delicious, and the hummus just held everything together!
Kebab Fries: I got that with the shaved lamb and beef. The sauce is creamy, the feta was amazing, the onions were perfectly picked, and the salad dressing gave it an extra zing you didn’t think you needed.
Overall I love this place. And I’m hoping I can introduce more people to this spot!
There are some booths inside if you want to dine in, as well as outside dinning, if the weather is fair and pleasant on the given day. Of course, if you are ordering take out, there’s a standing area behind the kitchen as you wait for the order to be made. Before you leave, don’t forget grab some delicious dips to seal on small containers. They range from mild, medium, and spicy.
It took roughly 10 to 15 minutes for the order to be completed. If you consider lunch, I’d suggest you come 15 or 20 minutes before 12pm. Bon apetite!
