Open seven days a week, The Capital Grille is best known for our expertly prepared steaks, which are dry aged in house for 18 to 24 days and then hand-cut by our restaurant’s on-premise butcher. The Capital Grille’s wine list features more than 350 selections, and its floor-to-ceiling wine kiosk regularly houses 3,500 – 5,000 bottles. Reservations are recommended but not required. Dining at the Capital Grille has always been a treat, but the staff (Shay and Ashley) brought service to an all time high! The food was on point as usual, and the steaks were grilled perfectly. Our two waitresses asked if we were celebrating anything special, and we said that it’s our daughter’s birthday, however, she’s out of town doing residency training. So guess what, the waitresses brought out a birthday dessert and had us sing Happy Birthday to send to our daughter. And they even gave her a set of steak knives too!! What a cool experience!

I was pleasantly surprised by the variety on their menu. The crab cake and roasted chicken breast were both excellent. The ambience is nice, but just a heads-up: it’s best suited for families with older kids.

This was our first visit and we absolutely loved it. The restaurant decor was very elegant, the food was delicious and the servers were very attentive. We had the filet mignon and the cook on it was perfect. And it was one of the best Caesar salads I have ever had. Adrienne was our server. She was very friendly, knowledgeable and took very good care of us. We are so happy we chose to celebrate our anniversary here. We will definitely be back for special occasions!

Came here to celebrate my new career as a flight attendant and this place did not disappoint! When you are talking about fine dining, this is it! Everyone is so welcoming, they kept checking on us, even the manager, Michael, came to ask us if we were doing okay etc. Our server was amazing and so friendly and I had asked for the dessert menu, but after all the yummy food, I told her I’d be skipping dessert. Well not only did she pack up our leftovers, but she also sent me home with a mini cheesecake! The food here is fresh and high quality so now I get why it’s called fine dining. Will be back again for sure!

We went on Valentines night. We made reservations and were seated before our time slot. They presented my wife with a rose. The staff is very friendly and the waiter was excellent. The food is top notch. We enjoyed the Prosciutto wrapped Mozzarella for appetizer. It was served warm with bread. We both really enjoyed it. I had a bone in ribeye and wife had the filet. The lobster mac and cheese side is a must try. The wine selection is extensive. We have been here several times and never disappointed. Thank you Capital Grille for an amazing night!

This place never ceases to amaze me. We went for our second time last night for Valentine’s Day and it was marvelous. It started out a little rough but the wait staff came in clutch and went above and beyond to make for it. A true mark of a fine dining establishment is a question. Do they pay attention to their customers or not? I’m happy to say that the wait staff here pay attention! If they mess up a detail please tell them because they will accommodate you immediately. I can’t say enough positive things about the two different waiters we’ve had there. Both very different personalities but both provided excellent service.

I’ve been to numerous different Capital Grille locations around DFW. My wife and I went to the one in Southlake recently to celebrate both our Wedding Anniversary and her Birthday. The food and ambience was excellent but even more so the service. I want to call out David (not sure if he was a manager or maître d) and Benny for making this a special, memorable dinner. Highly recommend!

This was a wonderful date night out. Our server, Ariana, had the perfect amount of attentiveness and really made our first date night out after our baby special. The food was fabulous as were the wine and cocktails. We will absolutely return.

My wife and I had a 4:10 PM reservation for Valentine’s Day. We arrived at 3:45 PM, checked in, and were told by the host to wait at the bar.
We sat at the bar for 45 minutes in clear view of the staff. Not only were we never called for our 4:10 PM reservation, but we were completely ignored by the staff while sitting there. Most frustratingly, we watched as other guests who arrived well after us were greeted, seated, and even attended to with staff checking in to see if ‘they were doing fine.’
We were invisible to them. We finally left at 4:30 PM without a single word of apology or acknowledgement from the host. To ignore a checked-in reservation while providing active service to later arrivals is inexcusable. They completely ruined a special Valentine’s surprise
