We tried out basically every American Chinese food restaurants around merrick area. Sing Mee is hands down our favorite american chinese food takeout spot. Our favorites are their Lo mains and general tso’s chicken. Their lo main (plain or meat) have such great flavors, and the chicken is super tender. I could literally just eat a plain lo main straight.

Very disgusting. Very poor service. Bland food. Misleading menu. I went to get the hibachi chicken that says on the menu it is served with choice of veg or white rice. I asked for veg. They gave me pork in my rice with no vegetables. She says this is how they have been doing it here for 10 years for the people in the “area” the chicken is undercooked and bland. I literally vomited. Rice was mushy too. Food quality is beyond poor. I called and she refuses to give me a refund. This was 15 dollars it wasn’t even 15 worth the amount of food.

Sometimes the lo mein has a different taste, but whoever cooks on Tuesday nights knows how to do it. Perfectly flavored with a sweetness to it.

The food is really really good!!! It is a little more expensive than most but worth it! Only complaint is there should be more chicken with the chicken dishes.

Sing Mee used to be a good neighborhood fast Chinese spot but they haven’t been too good lately. For the past year or so, the quality of their meats and specifically their chicken, has changed for the worse. Their portions have gotten smaller and prices have gone up. And for some reason their Chinese no longer tastes good as left overs. It just doesn’t heat up well anymore. Overall very disappointed in their food as of recent and after 10+ years of ordering with them, my family and I will be ordering elsewhere.

Its a rippoff. $14 for a chow mein combo. Popcorn sized shrimp and an egg roll that was half the size of other chinese takeouts. Great wall Merrick is a much better value. Avoid this dump.

The BEST Chinese food on Long Island! I’ve been coming here since I was a kid and grew up with this place as my favorite Chinese takeout restaurant! It’s comfort food and I don’t know what I’d do without it! I strongly recommend their Sesame Chicken combination (my personal favorite)…out of this World!

This was my favorite Chinese food place. They never were open on sundays and now are… There deffently new owners. The food is completly different i asked for pork fried dumplings and cheese fried wontons. The dumplings are 100% raw. And the wontons are completly empty. Im so happy i didnt order any meat dishes.

If I there is less than a one star rating, I would have selected that: ever since ownership changed hands, horrible, bland bland food. Portions were very small for the price, vegetables posted as being in the stir-fry hard to see without a magnify glass. Instead of regular moo shu wrappers, the Moo shu chicken was served with egg roll rice wrappers that dissolved upon contact with the food. What a mess! Never again!
