This is one of those rare places where you would chop off one of your fingers to have a location in your area. Please come to Philly! But seriously the Peruvian salad was so good, such amazing dressing and fresh lettuce, and likewise the salmon entrée was so good. Flavors on everything were sensational. Hard to believe this was at a takeout counter type of place.Amazingly healthy and even good dessert if you wanted to indulge afterwards.

WOW! Tried out the new Alfalfa in Princeton today and loved the entire experience. The service was incredible, the food was delicious and filling, and the energy in restaurant was warm and inviting. The space is very cute and has nice natural light, and the decor is cute and welcoming. I had the Laguna salad and added Peruvian Spiced Chicken Thighs, and the salad came beautifully plated and dressed perfectly! I also tried one of their donuts (the lemon thyme) and the texture and flavor was top tier. It looked too good, I didn’t even take a photo! I was really impressed with the entire experience and can’t wait to try more on their menu. I’ll definitely be coming back and bringing friends!

Went to the newly opened Princeton location for the first time. Amazing, healthy food. Super high quality ingredients. I got a salad and my boyfriend got a warm plate. They also gave us a carrot cake to try for free which was one of the best carrot cakes I’ve had!!! Definitely will be back here. It’s sometimes hard to find really healthy options in central NJ, so Alfalfa will be a new regular for me. TRY IT!

This will be a hit for sure! Excellent, patient service at the register while we asked a million questions and vacillated between orders. Sasha, the head chef, Kayla and Kimberly were so awesome and welcoming- we will be back- can’t wait! The food (Ancho Potato Breakfast Burrito and Make Your Own Salad and a side of Buffalo Cauliflower) was excellent, fresh, and made with care. The ambiance is serene and sparkling clean with light pink seating, white design accents, and minimalistic design. There are many vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options. We also tried the gluten free carrot cake which was heavenly! Such a fantastic addition to Nassau Street. Princeton Parents: get your tigers an Alfalfa gift card so you can rest assured that they are eating healthy- at least some of the time 🙂

I like their breakfast burrito! I would prefer that over their salads or wraps personally. It tastes good, they’re not too expensive, and the store itself is very cute. Nice place to catch up with friends.

Food isn’t anything special, but definitely a nice vibe to hang out in for a while located right on Nassau Street. I’d say that the salads are probably better than the wraps, but make sure you go with a flavor combination that you’re really sure about, because otherwise they can be a bit overwhelming. They have fun drinks as well, including iced tea and coffee, and some desserts. Also, join the rewards program if you go- it’s very lucrative!

Very trendy/chic atmosphere and delicious food even for someone who admittedly doesn’t like vegetables/salads that much! love how customizable everything is, and the cauliflower buffalo wrap was super tasty and a very decent portion for the price. The owners (I think?) even came up to us in the middle of our meal to check in with us— overall, great experience.

Great place to grab a bite. The space is chill and the staff were super helpful. I enjoyed my iced chai latte and ancho potato burrito. It tasted fresh and the included sauces were perfect. The flour tortilla quality was excellent too.
The owner came to chat with us and you can tell he’s very passionate about what he does. Respect from a fellow food business owner! I need to try the lunch options next time.

Absolutely love Alfalfa – and Jay makes it even better!
Every time I visit Alfalfa, the food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared. But what really sets this place apart is the people – especially Jay, who is without a doubt one of the most genuine and caring individuals I’ve ever encountered at any restaurant.
Jay goes above and beyond to make every customer feel welcomed and seen. Whether it’s remembering your order, offering helpful recommendations, or simply checking in with a warm smile, he truly brings heart to the Alfalfa experience. You can tell he deeply cares about both the food and the community.
It’s rare to find someone who treats every guest like family, and Jay does just that. If you stop by, I hope you get to meet him – it’ll make your day.
Highly recommend this spot, not just for the delicious food, but for the people like Jay who make it feel like home.

To be honest, I didn’t expect much from Alfalfa and thought it was a typical “healthy” take out place with average food. To my surprise, the spicy Calabrian caesar wrap was extremely good with enough spice and fresh ingredients. The crispy croutons and the fact that it was well wrapped (didnt fall apart at all!) made it a great meal. Although it was pricy (about $15 for a decently sized wrap), I would definitely recommend it to anybody stopping by the area for a guilt free meal.
