Went to eat st this olace yesterday for the first time! I got the shrimp basket with coleslaw, mashed potatoes wirh gravy, & hush puppies. It was so good!! The lady there was friendly & greeted us st the door when we walked in. I would highly recommend going here. Bring in more people over there!

Deborah, the owner, greeted us as soon as we walked in. We ordered the fried catfish and the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and fried okra. Needless to say it was delicious! She fixed everything just then so we got our food hot off the grill, so to speak. Deborah was so friendly and we had a nice chat while we ate since we were the only ones there for an early dinner. Wellington is halfway from our home to our son’s place so we plan to stop in on our next trip. The place is not fancy but the food was excellent and reasonably priced. If you want a real homemade meal, this is the perfect place.

Work in Wellington wanted to treat my client to a dinner. Huge mistake! Ordered brisket sandwich w/coleslaw, tea and 5 piece shrimp with 1 fish , fries and water. $28.50 plus tip($5.40) $35! Forgot to put fish, fries greasy and shrimp size of a quarter. All this shoved in a paper lunch bag laying sideways stapled! Mind you fries and shrimp greasy nothing to cover it sitting on top of bare sandwich. No napkins no silverware, no sauce or pickles nothing just dry brisket n greasy fries n tiny shrimp ! I love the food there! It’s the first place I ever tried catfish and they made me fall in love with it! The brisket fries are also delicious. I normally always have to get both whenever I go there! Also when she has her buttermilk pie up for dessert it’s great! I also really like the catfish sandwich, fried chicken, and country fried steak. So far there isn’t anything on the menu that I’ve tried that I haven’t liked!
