I actually never leave reviews. I don’t like to take the time to. I’ve been to amazing and some really bad places and I still don’t leave a review. But this experience was MISERABLE and I felt the need to say something.
We ordered pizza for a simple movie night after just moving to the area, thinking we’d try a nearby spot with solid ratings. Unfortunately, this ended up being THE WORST PIZZA I’VE EVER HAD.
DELIVERY TOOK ONE HOUR, even though we live 4 (FOUR) minutes away (1.8 miles). By the time it arrived, the pizza was cold, hard, and clearly sitting for a while. We were nearly done with our movie when it showed up.
As for the pizza itself, it was extremely disappointing. The dough was incredibly thick, rough, and dry, thicker than my thumb, yet this is not a deep dish. There wasn’t nearly enough sauce, and the toppings didn’t blend or melt into the pizza at all. We ordered both the Bruno’s and the Grandma’s pizza. My husband and I each tried one slice of each, and that was all we had. The rest went straight in the trash. All of it went into the trash.
The garlic bread was also inconsistent and really bad. One piece was actually acceptable, so we grabbed one more and it was drenched in butter and garlic to the point where it tasted oily and off, almost tasted like fish. That went in the trash too.
I’m not writing this to get a refund, and I’m not trying to pile on. I just wish I had seen a more honest review before ordering. For the price and the wait, this was a complete waste of money. I’ve genuinely had better pizza from the grocery store, which is not something I ever expected to say about a local pizza place.
If this is considered good pizza by some, we clearly had a very different experience. Unfortunately, ours ended with the entire dinner being thrown away. One star is the lowest option, but even that feels generous. My recommendation: don’t ever get pizza from here. Maybe they have other good food items. But the pizza is absolutely trash.

Tony’s Pizza is a great spot when you want something quick and fresh. The pizza is always hot, flavorful, and made with good-quality ingredients. Service is fast, which makes it perfect for take-out or a quick stop when you’re on the go. Simple, consistent, and satisfying—definitely a reliable place for an easy meal.

Very small tables inside but enough seats for about 20 people. Mostly for takeout and delivery! Staff was very friendly and accommodating, we had a party of 8 people and the food was served to us hot and delicious. Little bit of a wait because it was Labor Day! And they were getting slammed with orders, but handled it so professionally! We had lasagna pizza that was loaded with topping and delicious! Cheese pizza, Eggplant parm hero really good, the bread was amazing! Rice ball parm yummy! Best French fries we ever had piping hot and crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside. A giant meatball Stromboli, chicken parm meal with pasta, salad and bread, chicken fingers, ham and cheese hero and a Philly cheese steak. We loved everything but the Cheesesteak was not cheesy enough and the meat was chopped too much and a bit dry, the bread was amazing though! Good prices, yummy food and great service! Definitely will be back!

On its website, Tony’s touts its customer service as well as its “fresh ingredients.” No doubt a refreshing exercise in truth-in-advertising. Your order may take a few extra minutes, but every element is always very high quality. I had the meatball parm hero today (see photo), and the Stromboli is highly recommended as well. I will return for the pizza. Small dining area, but always clean and friendly, and the food is always tops.

I had the most amazing spinach Florentine pie. It was so light and crispy not greasy and delicious. It was the pan pie pizza the crust was perfect. Highly recommend

Located on Broadway in Rahway, NJ, Kinda tucked in the corner, Tony’s pizza is a neighborhood pizzeria that’s great if you want to stay local. Having just a plain and buffalo slice, I enjoyed it, and I would go back. A good stop.

Tony’s chose to provide poor service. Humans make mistakes but we are able to correct those mistakes. I ordered two pies of pizza but the driver lost the tickets with the address and phone number and did not deliver the pies in a timely manner . After waiting over an hour for the food, I called to find out where the status of our order, I was meeting with unprofessionalism. I asked that order be remade instead they reheated the pies and sent them back out. Tony’s chose the easy route, not the correct route. Do better Tony’s. You have my number.

This is a pizzeria I frequent time to time since it’s a neighborhood pizzeria for me. My go to here is their grandma pizza. I’ve never had a bad grandma pie from here. Great flavor overall. You taste garlic, fresh basil, mozzarella cheese, and a very tasty sauce.

I have cheat meals every Saturday… and for some reason I ALWAYS come
back here for them! Best pizza I’ve honestly ever had. The grandma pizza is to die for and the Buffalo chicken pizza is heaven. I’m on a mission to try every single thing in their menu because so far, they have yet to disappoint me!
(Even my puppy wanted a piece of this heaven in the photo!)
