one of my favorite little spots in town. every time I go it’s quiet and easy and in my personal opinion they have the best fried rice in town. That with the spicy garlic edamame and im content. I haven’t had much of their sushi or entrees outside of that, so I can’t speak for those personally, though my boyfriend has been going down the menu and so far no complaints!

Got one of the monthly December specials and was stuffed. Miso ramen and Cali roll. Food was delicious. Broth was flavorful and hot, tasty bok choy, chewy noodles. I couldnt finish the entire sushi rolland was given a small to-go box and bag before I could even ask. Server was attentive.

We ordered ramen combo with sushi and we were given a ramen that looks and taste like instant ramen. K-Ramen has shredded beef that looks and taste like yesterday’s leftover literally like 1 tablespoon amount. Meanwhile, Tonkotsu Ramen was really bland. Tonkotsu instant Ramen taste better.. Sushi was 6/10, shrimp tempura was 8/10.

The sushi was incredibly fresh and delicious. You can really taste the quality and care in every piece. The staff were very friendly, and the atmosphere was wonderful. I would definitely love to come back again. Truly one of the best sushi experiences!

2024 update: unfortunately this location changed management so you cannot get the delicious food below anymore. The quality of food is not very good. Its the same price as before and I got the closest thing to the katsu I loved, which ended up tasting like fast food chicken nuggets with A1 steak sauce (weird thing to serve with breaded chicken). Some of the side dishes were ok but this meal broke my heart. I will no longer come here as it was so disappointing.

This is my new favorite place in town. The food is amazing and well worth the price. My favorites are the Japanese Curry Katsu, the Bulgogi plate, and the Katsudon. Their fried gyoza is excellent too! Sometimes the way they present the food varies, see photos of the Japanese Curry Katsu on two different occasions. This is a casual place, very hole-in-the-wall sort of vibe. They will give you chopsticks by default, but you can get forks if needed.

The food is soooo good!!! The waitress was so sweet and very attentive! She even recommended sushi when I couldn’t decide which roll to get! If you are in the area please come here! They’re great!

We have made it here twice now and it did not disappoint

The second time now we tried another raw sushi roll (tuna lovers) and another deep fried roll (power Philadelphia) and they were amazing and so fresh.

We also tried the the udon soup with fried tofu and it was really rich in flavor. With fresh veggies.

And another all time favorite of ours are Edamame – let me tell you, not everyone knows how to actually add some extra flavor to these but HaRu Sushi did

If you have not tried this – please sit down and have a meal – it will be well worth it.

Quant and very low-key. Establishment is very clean, and the waitstaff was very polite and professional. The server suggested very tasty sushi, the Hawaiian roll, and The Mango2. They were both delicious. Ramen was tasty as well and nice portions. I would recommend this place for a date night or quite intimate lunch date.

It’s a pretty small space but great vibes. Unfortunately they have a staffing problem so our food took a while to get.
My dish came out almost 40 min to an hour before my girlfriend got her food. If more staff gets hired then this place would be amazing. Right now they don’t handle the dinner rush well.
The food however was great.

I have found my new sushi place in Colga. Everything was wonderful.
Service- Our waitress was phenomenal. She knew everything about the menu and gave great recommendations. She was so patient and kind. Noticing we ordered an entree that came on a skillet for our 5 yr old (I know, I know, but the kid needs his bulgogi), she set it on a seperate table and brought us a separate plate to keep him safe. She was wonderful!
Sushi chef – very kind and efficient. Service as items were completed instead of waiting for the entire table. Asked how everything was and seemed genuinely interested in our answer.
Atmosphere – small shotgun style restaurant with few tables and bar in front of the sushi counter. Late 90s early 00’s hits playing on the radio. (One of our bench seats was sooooo squeaky though).
Food – rolls were well formed and kept their shape (Cali and rainbow). Nigiri was perfectly portioned and so buttery and fresh. Ginger dressing was homemade (different than the pink dressing at the other restaurants in colga, and in the best way). Chicken ramen – daughter (15y) said the broth instantly brought her into a great day. Huge portion, so she had it for dinner and probably lunch tomorrow as well. Bulgogi entree – son (5y) absolutely devoured this. Still a huge portion. So he has plenty of leftovers. Bulgogi was cooked so well and the flavor was great. Bulgogi Cupbap – hubby loved it with the spicy sauce.
They do have lunch specials mon-fri, which I’m excited to see about.
Kids menu – none available.
Seriously, this place was so wonderful we will be coming back.
