My first visit to Massa 8 will definitely not be my last. But a welcome addition to the local Ewing/Lawrenceville/Pennington dining scene. Side note: hands down the most delicious roast pork fried rice I’ve ever had, leveled up from the typical Chinese takeout variety.

I got takeout and the person at register is very mean and rude and has attitude when nothing is even wrong- I wasn’t even arguing i was just confused. The sushi was very mushy and tastes strange . The edamame was okay nothing special. I will give them another try but it was really gross

Great little Japanese restaurant in Ewing. The sushi was awesome. Wasnt impressed with the one-note squid appetizer but the udon was filled with umami flavor. The fried ice cream was very good. Staff was friendly in this small, clean, and dimly-lit restaurant. Great place to come for weekday dinners.

Been coming here for a long time now and it’s now my go-to place for sushi. Their sushi is consistently fresh and delicious and their 2 special roll deal is excellent. I think I’ve tried every roll they have to offer and they’re all very delicious. Highly recommend.

Went to Masa 8 by recommendation of a friend and I loved it!! The shuhis and sashimis are so good, fresh and with a very delicious flavour combination. We also tried the misu soup and it was very good! The takeout is just as good as the food there. The price was very reasonable for the quality of the food and the service was very fast and attentive. I definitely recommend Masa 8 and I will certainly be back lots of times.

I ordered for take out so was only there for 2 minutes. I’ve visited here plenty of times but tonight was different. The customer service provided was by far the best. The person who was at the register was very friendly, smiled the whole time to every customer walking in and out. He ran it smooth. It was so perfect that I had to go back in to ask for his name. Nate makes a welcoming environment a requirement. Definitely deserves a raise

Been here 2 days in a row for lunch and ordered something different both times. It seems it doesn’t matter what you order, it’s going to be delicious. Fresh cuts of fish, with melt in your mouth texture. Delicious combinations take your taste buds for a RIDE! Pepper tuna and chili salmon are definitely a must try. Service is on point and food was out quick both days even though it was busy. You won’t be regretful any way you go.

They asked us to pay before the order was ready. When paying with a card the screen for tipping is presented before completing the process. Tipping starts with 18%.
Can someone please explain to me why tipping is necessary if I am picking up the order?
I understand if I am seated and being served. But not if I have driven there to pick up.
And…once getting home and opening the order, the portions seemed smaller than when we eat in the restaurant.
