We have nothing bad to say about Noel’s Tacos. We just happened to find it on our way to Taco John’s. We were pleasantly surprised. The service was great! The associate was patient in helping with suggestions. The food was great tasting and not too pricey for the amount of food. I believe their chips are homemade. They provide a salsa bar with a decent variety. They have a party size space with a fireplace.

I had almost given up on Mexican restaurants across the country, until I stopped at this one. I had a breakfast burrito the size of my plate! The burrito was delicious especially with the homemade salsa. They even had radishes, cucumbers, onions on the fresh bar to eat. We will definitely be coming back when we’re are on this route!!

Food is always to die for. Customer service is always go out their way for their customers. If in the area, I cannot skip this place. Really good food.

Noel’s Tacos in Ogallala is one of those hidden gems that feels like you just stumbled into someone’s celebration. That breakfast burrito you had sounds legendary — a full-on feast wrapped in a tortilla, with fresh steak, cheese, and potatoes balanced by the cilantro and onions. The pan-fried jalapeños and onions on the side were the perfect fiery touch.

What really sets the place apart is their salsa bar: not just a token couple of jars, but a whole salad-bar-sized spread of salsas, each with its own kick and character. Pair that with a bright, clean, festive interior and you’ve got a spot that captures the joy of a proper Mexican kitchen. Noel’s clearly takes pride in making food that’s fresh, hearty, and worth slowing down to savor.

If every road-trip breakfast could be like this, nobody would mind getting up before dawn.

Got taco salads tonight for the 2nd time. The first time it was amazing but tonight it was bad. The taco salads had a ton of meat but only a pinch of lettuce on them. Hardly any toppings. 1st time they were stuffed with lettuce and cheese. I was very disappointed with this visit. Your ordering a taco salad one of the main ingredients is lettuce. I put more lettuce on my tacos than what was on these taco salads. Then when I got lettuce on the side it was as if it was frozen and defrosted. Not good.

I’m traveling, so it’s always hard to know what to expect. The Pollo Verde was better than I hoped!! The sauce is tangy and full of flavor, very mild. The rice was soft, not undercooked. The beans are classic. The portion is large for the price. I didn’t know it came with a small bag of chips and 3 different little containers of salsa: verde, regular, and spicy. That was a nice surprise! I have special instructions, corn tortillas and no dairy. They followed everything, which is really appreciate because otherwise I’d be sick. Since I’m in a hotel, it was also nice that there was a fork and napkins included.

I ordered the Steak Guadalhara. It was very tasty. But the rice had very little flavor. The refried beans were good tgough.

No one was at the counter for about 10 minutes before I walked away. Saw a couple people in a booth without food but they were working on something in a folder, assumed they worked there and would get someone to help. After standing there for 10 min, like a fool, I left. One of them came to the door and yelled something, couldn’t hear, and gestured to come inside. I left knowing the service is bad and presumed the food would not be fresh since they didn’t have any other customers. As soon as you walk in there are about 10 tv monitors used as menus, although you get ample time to decide (and not order) the displays are great if you are a gamer and know what you want. Rating them at 2 so people don’t waste their time like I did.

My hard shell tacos were good. My husband didn’t care for the red sauce on his deluxe burrito. The guacamole was delicious! Restaurant and bathrooms were clean. Staff was very nice.

I got a chimichanga with chicken and my husband got a burrito, both were great and I surprisingly liked the strawberry and pineapple tamale, I wasn’t sure what to expect but the strawberry was my fav, delish! The burritos were stuffed with a great amount of meat, neither of us could finish our food! Will be back!
