I really enjoyed my experience at this Albanian restaurant. The bean soup was absolutely amazing and honestly the best beans I have ever tried in the United States. I truly loved it. The ćevapi (Javabi) kebab was also very good, and the börek was extremely delicious. Both tasted very authentic and comforting.
The only small suggestion I have is that the börek and the ćevapi kofta were a little salty, so slightly reducing the salt would make them even better. I would also love to see more sides added to the menu, such as yogurt, ayran (yogurt drink), or tea, as these would pair perfectly with the food and make the experience even better.
One more small note: the onions served on the side with the ćevapi did not seem very freshly cut. I would recommend serving freshly cut onions, as it would make a noticeable difference.
Overall, I really appreciate the owners and the food they serve. The beans alone are worth coming back for. Highly recommended, and I hope they consider adding yogurt and yogurt drinks to the menu.

Went to Jakova Grill to try a new restaurant for carryout and it was excellent! We ordered Byrek pie and a Mixed Plate and both dishes were delicious! The restaurant staff was very professional and the atmosphere was festive. Do yourself a favor and go to the Jakova Grill and get some fresh and tasty food!

Ok, I’ve never eaten at an Albanian restaurant so I’m not sure what to expect but, come on, Albania is just across the Adriatic from Italy and next door to Greece, the odds of it not being good or even slightly familiar seem pretty low, even if the cultures are different.
The young lady who took my order was very polite, smiling and checked back several times during my meal.
First thing I learned, no soups on the weekend so gulash was out. Damn, on a 38° day that sounded terrific.
So, needing some veggies in my diet, I ordered the Shopska salad which is just a mix of tomato, cucumber, purple onion tossed with olive oil & vinegar with shredded cheese on top. And I got a fresh round of still warm bread. Fabulous bread, good chew.
What I assume is Albanian music plays at the perfect volume, audible but not intrusive.
I’m coming back for Gulash, too.

My boss brings this 45mins! To where we work. I got to dine in! Finally and it was amazing str8 from the kitchen piping hot. Clean establishment. Prices are Very! The food is delicious but the service is terrible and slow. Got seated on a dirty table with dishes. It took forever to order food and she forgot our fries and the drink. It is obvious that the blonde lady can’t do all the job herself since she seems overwhelmed and confused.

Upon entering this establishment I was warmly greeted and patiently waited on (sometimes I can be picky); Nevertheless, the employees took their time to ensure our satisfaction. My taste buds were watering, as the smell of our food cooking was slightly hinting at my nose. Therefore, I sat as I waited in anticipation. The modern atmosphere along with the cleanliness is unbeatable. The management and employees take cleanliness at a level other food establishments can only hope to meet. The way a restaurant cares about the way it presents itself says a lot about what you can expect about the food! EXCELLENT!
