Exactly what I look for in Kauai. Locally sourced REAL food. I got the guacho bowl with chicken plus UBE sweet potato fries and a side of steak bc your girl always wants to try everything. The owner makes all the sides and dressing herself so you better by some sauce too. Honey mustard and chimchurri was immaculate.
Sidenote: there’s not public restroom or indoor seating when you’re looking for it, it’s in the food truck lot!

We’ve been coming to Kauai for four years and somehow just discovered Fresh Bite in Hanalei… huge mistake on our part. The food is insanely fresh, came out fast, and it was packed with locals (always the best sign). I had the Gaucho salad with quinoa and steak and I will literally dream about it. 100/10, do not skip this!

Great food and service! Ate here 4 years ago and it is still high quality and great taste. We got the 808 steak sandwiches and fries. Only outside seating so if you need to cool off, you will need to sit in your car with the AC on.

Busy place during lunch but totally worth the wait. The Gaucho was good but really needs the dressing to make it spark, Buddha is very good but again be sure to mix the dressing around as all the flavors really mix best together, my son adored the 808 Steak sandwich, and we loved the Banh mi sandwich which is the best of the bunch.

Our favourite is the Chop Lee bowl with ranch dressing. Could eat that every day it’s that good.

This truck is super fun—sustainable made my locals and the food did taste really fresh! Tons of vegetarian options, all can be and then you can choose meat, only avacado for meat substitutes but I just got no meat but the bowl had quinoa which is a good source of protein. I got a bowl with watermelon, picked cabbage, and mustard sauce and it was a fun surprise! The flavors totally worked and it was like nothing I had tried before. Also loved the purple sweet potato fries. Didn’t love the salad in the pic with the fries

Loved it! Ate here twice on our stay. Everything tasted so fresh and yummy. The Chipotle Cheese Fries!!!! So yum!!! Really lives up to the name. Can’t wait to eat here on our next trip back!
