Picked up a couple of dinner plates for take out to try. I was skeptical if the fish dinners would have that crunch after the journey home but everything turned out well. The perch was good but a bit on the small side. Whiting had a good batter and desert seemed pre-bought but was still good. Worth a try.

First visit today for early dinner and such a good place to eat sit and drink. I liked the entire decor of the place it was so capturing. Everything was ocean, beach and seafood. It was Tuesday evening we went to this place may be the reason that this place was quiet and calm, weekends might be busy I guess. Our server was smart and polite. My daughter is fond of snow crab legs and this place makes some good cajun carb legs. Must try is any seafood with cajun sauce. Fried calamari was tasty. Home cajun fries is too good. My 5 starts for this place is also for its hygiene. During this pandemic they have maintained so clean and neat, tables covered with paper is the assurance of unused and clean table, plastic warped on the top of the metal frame above the table ensures proper distancing. This all impressed me, because safety comes first when going out with family(children). Please have a look at the ambiance when you get time its really pretty, small children will love it.

I tried this place a 2nd time at my wife’s request as she really wanted crab boil for Mother’s Day. This go around we called our order in prior to arriving to be able to pick up and go. We were given a 30min pickup time. I arrived in 25 minutes and still had to wait an additional 40 to 50 minutes. I paid in advance and waited for my food. After finally receiving my food (after the additional wait) I decided to check my order – just to make sure I wasn’t missing any of my 2 ordered meals. And my order was missing additional sauce that I had ordered and paid for. I tell the gentleman who took my payment and he simply tells me it’s in the bag and continues on. I take my orders out of the bag to PROVE that I did not get what I paid for since the employee I dealt with couldn’t be bothered to double check the order and fix it. I then grab another employee’s attention and explain the situation. This other employee tells me he is going to GIVE ME the extra I was missing. Thanks for giving me what I PAID FOR . Stay far, far, far away from this place until they get their business practices together!!! Downgraded to 1⭐. Never doing business here again for me!!!

I had a larger party (20+) so I called in a week ahead of time to make sure this restaurant could accommodate. Spoke with an employee who assured us that we were good for a 630pm reservation and we would have plenty of seating to cover our party. We arrived well in advance of our 630pm reservation time. We were not seated until after 730pm. We didn’t get to order just drinks until almost 8pm. The restaurant was very understaffed. I only am giving the 2 stars for the effort of our server. She appeared to be the only server working the whole restaurant and she was able to stay calm and level headed with the odds being stacked against her. Our food order was not taken for almost another 30 minutes. Making it 830pm. We had people in our party who ordered appetizers and didn’t receive them until the main courses were delivered. We did not leave the restaurant until close to 1030pm. I was very disappointed with the way the establishment was run. I hope they are able to get things together as there are many options for crab boils popping up in the Columbus area. Definitely consider the amount of time you are willing to dedicate to spending in a meal sitting. They have some work to do to earn my business back.

This will not be helpful if you want to know about the boil. I took my son with me but he didn’t want to get the boil and it looked like far too much food for one person so we got fried instead: he went with the shrimp “burger” and I got a fried shrimp basket. We also got a starter of hush puppies.

Hush puppies were crisp not soggy with excessive oil. The burger designation is correct..it’s served on a sesame seed bun so it’s not exactly a po’ boy. He said the sauce on it tasted like the sauce on the side (tartar) so don’t expect remoulade. Sandwich got a thumb’s up from him.

I got eight shrimp accompanied by the cajun fries. Shrimp was nicely crisp as were the fries for the most part (a couple here and there were on the soft side). I could have used a stronger presence seasoning wise..not enough “Cajun” to the Cajun seasoned fries or the shrimp in my estimation.

Our waitress Clarissa visited four times including leaving the check and asked if we wanted to-go sodas before we left.

Prices were moderate ($10 each for entree plus four for the starter).

We intend to return to try the boil. For what it’s worth, the restaurant will have some healthy competition on that front as Jay’s Seafood Boil will be open soon about three minutes down the road in Pickerington.

The wife and I found ourselves as empty nesters for the day (both the live-in critters were away) so we decided to find something new and different for lunch. Ended up at Pier 11 Boiling Seafood on 256 in Reynoldsburg.
We intended on getting some fish and chips, which they had (and fried everything else I think), but quickly changed our minds when we saw their seafood boil options. We opted instead for a low country boil. VERY tasty! The garlic butter and boil seasonings were delicious. The wife’s not a fan of spice, so we opted for the non-spice version, but you can go as spicy as you want.
We had mussels, shrimp, a single red skin potato, a half ear of corn, a single lobster tail, and a boatload of smoked sausage medallions (kielbasa?). I think the plate was meant as a single serving, but there was PLENTY of food for the two of us, and then some, for $35. Over 3 pounds of food I think.
The potato was AWESOME, as was the mussles. The sausage was good. The corn, shrimp, and lobster was tasty, but WAAAAAYYYY overcooked. Like, completely hammered and rubbery. But again, drowned in a half-gallon of butter, garlic, and low country boil seasonings, it was still mighty delicious.
Should there be a next time, I think I’ll just get a few dozen potatoes and a pound of muscles… by far the most enjoyable items of the meal, along with that wonderful sweet tea.

Yumm! Crawfish a little overcooked but it can be hard to get right. I really love the butter topping, it’s perfect, the Cajun kinda tastes like water with some season salt lol stick to butter ❤️

The place was clean and inviting although we ordered carryout. The staff was friendly and assisted one another with the order. We got a shrimp and a Whiting basket with fries and ordered sides of coleslaw and hush puppies. It was under $30 and we had so much we couldn’t finish our meal. The food was delicious and seasoned well. We were impressed that the staff wore face masks and had them on unlike when we visited O’Charley’s in January where they wore masks under their chins and noses. We will definitely visit Pier 11 again.
