Lovely little independent place witg welcoming staff. Shared the sardines and the half lobster with chips, garlic butter and salad. All fresh and delicious a lovely little find.
Anyway I think the restaurant has changed hands recently but the quality of the food was just as good.
Had the calamari, fish & chips, fish pie. All tasty and very good value. Could have done with an extra staff member as the poor waiter was running around but all in all just as good as last time

Lovely restaurant with nice staff. Sitting outside in the sun was great even if on a busy road.
Calamari was some of the nicest I’ve had in a long time. Dressed crab was fresh & salad accompaniment was lovely. Fish tacos were a big portion & all chips were homemade. 2starts 2 mains and a bottle of wine for just under £70. Excellent
We were not disappointed!
A super welcome on arrival. Great seats too.
We ordered and were served drinks promptly. Food arrived not long after – what a delicious selection of chef cooked meals.
Fish and chips were absolutely gorgeous, best we’ve had for a long time. Fish curry an absolute treat and fish pie, piping hot and very tasty! Thank you.
We highly recommend this restaurant.
We’ll be back soon!
As you can see I demolished the lobster.
Well worth the price and then some.
The menu is mostly unchanged, sharing a 2 course fish meze platter for 2 and a pudding. The meze starter lacked sauces and, as such, was quite bland and no longer comes with mussels as it did prior. The main was packed with various high-quality fresh fish and was seasoned well, but again, it is no longer accompanied by either chowder or curry, which is a shame as this was a highlight on previous visits.
The Irish coffee was well made and enjoyable, but the cherry bakewell tart was served with custard that was tepid at best. The tart itself was sweet and flavorful but not overwhelmed by any one flavour.
Service was not as engaging or friendly as usual this time, but it was not by any means bad. Hopefully, these issues are just teething problems whilst the staff and business get to grips with the new way of operating.
This is still one of the better establishments in Worthing to get great quality and tasting fish courses, so it is definitely worth trying!
Service was a bit slow and brusque but probably because the poor woman was all on her own serving the entire restaurant.
Would definitely come back, food was perfect and good value to boot.
