Don’t know who the baker is but they need some training. This place is AWFUL. Purchased three (3) item. Nutter Butter Cookie: Cookie was dry & tasteless. Buttercream had not been mixed properly and still retained raw sugar. Chocolate Browine: This was NOT a brownie! It was dry chocolate cake with a few chips included in batter & placed on top. Lemon Square: A proper Lemon Bar has a shortbread crust NOT PIE CRUST! Good grief. The lemon curd was unremarkable. This quite simply is NOT a good bakery.

Second time in there and while our first visit the cupcakes and cranberry cheesecake bars were delicious I have to admit we were surprised how expensive they were. I should point out prices were not displayed. Unfair really. Make sure if you go ask the price for each thing as you choose. Here’s why: We ended up with a astoundingly overpriced pecan pie. I did ask how much and she mumbled. She couldn’t have said $38 surely. When the tip screen came up it was clear there was a problem. I said wait just a minute how much is this pie? My husband looked at me and shrugged. The lowest suggested tip was over $5. I asked why it was so expensive and she said rather perplexed that I didn’t seem to take into account how expensive pecans were. So…then we bring it home and I’m already thinking this should be one excellent pecan pie. No it was not. The crust was definitely pre-made and the filling had too many pecans and not enough goo. Now if I bought this at a grocery store it would at most been $10 not as tasty but I could accept that, and I would not feel so ripped off. For comparison a pie at Publix…apple…was was under $10. To be fair this did have at least 300% the amount of pecans it needed. And twice as many than I would use when making pecan pie ending up with more goo and for pecans I might spend $10 at most. Is it fair to compare to my own? Yes a bakery should be at least as good as mine. Bottom line don’t get the pecan pie and ask for the PRICE of anything you buy first. To pay $45 for a pie after tax and tip i feel sad now not a great pie at all. If you don’t care about cost choose away. Just don’t expect it to match the cost in deliciousness. Sorry to say I doubt we will be back there even if craving a 5 dollar cupcake. For that much money I could have six cupcakes. Hmmm…a better choice?

We just stopped randomly while we were out and about. The lady at the counter was very personable, and gave us a description of the deserts they offered.
The Apple Carmel cheesecake was amazing. Not too sweet with great flavors.
Definitely a nice treat with great service.

Im a frequent customer at life is sweet bakery. I usually bring my dog because they sell homemade dog treats as well .. Im always holding her, and she never makes a sound. Usually I’m greeted with a smiling face and welcomed in. It’s like a lil trip for my dog to take that’s special because she gets a treat as well… Well today I was greeted by a man I’ve never seen before and immediately told that I couldn’t come in because of the dog. I asked if I could come back in without the dog and he said yes. When I came back in he was not friendly. I looked around everywhere for a sign that said no dogs or animals or any policy posted. There was none except for a sign out on a table in front of the register saying DOG TREATS!!! as if they welcome dogs… Clearly not very disappointed…. The sweets aren’t even that good but I always returned because of how friendly the staff was and it was a special trip for my dog. Not anymore guess we will be going to Lowe’s Foods or Publix. At least they welcome dogs you just can’t put them in a cart! Which is totally understandable!

Small bakery, small gluten free selection. I have enjoyed everything Gluten free thing I have eaten. Husband always enjoys whatever non-gluten free things he gets as well. The staff takes extra care to separate the GF from non-gf things. Never had a reaction to anything I have gotten.

We are very big on celebrating birthdays and of course the cake is the most important part of the party! We’ve been actively searching for a bakery we can use on a regular basis and we finally found it! They are very kind, their presentation was beautiful and then the real test was the day we picked it up to share at my daughter‘s party. We were not disappointed at all. The cake was fabulous, light but so tasty and moist and some macaroons on the side. I highly recommend this bakery.

The man that works behind the counter has to be the rudest business person I have ever encountered. I have been in this bakery several times and live within walking distance and have never seen him until today. I will never darken the door of this bakery again.walked out without purchasing one thing and have let my closest neighbors know about this awful experience.

Visited this bakery while in town the and sweets here are to die for. When talking to the owner you can tell the passion he has. Every item we bought and tried was simply amazing. Prices were also more than reasonable. Will definitely be back in the future while in town.
