excellent!
The Pickles and Turnips Tray was super fresh, crunchy, and full of flavor. The pink turnips and pickles were perfect and really enjoyable.
The Mixed Party Tray was also great – fresh, tasty, and nicely arranged. The hummus was smooth, the Tabouli was fresh, and the stuffed grape leaves were delicious.
Everything tasted fresh and the presentation was very clean and appealing. Highly recommended!
We were happy to find the business special for weekday lunch and it was a great deal. It was also a nice way to try a little bit of everything they had on the menu and it was delicious on top of that. My wife also really wanted to try the spicy cauliflower and glad she did. We all tried it and it was so good. The only thing that really surprised us was the chicken tenders and hummos on the kids menu. We were expecting breaded chicken tenders with a side of hummos but it was 2 grilled chicken tenders plopped on top a bunch of hummos. Our picky little one ate it but it was just very surprising.
The restaurant itself was fine with a number of people eating inside. I wouldn’t call it super fancy. The atmosphere was more of that as a dive diner than a more modern or upscale restaurant. Almost like a hole in the wall fast food place. Orange or terracotta colored tiled floors and drop ceiling etc. Don’t let the atmosphere deceive you though cause the food was good and the staff super nice. This was our first time and the lady answered all of our questions and gave us suggestions.
Overall we would definitely come back here again. Especially for the great business lunch special.
I personally eat here daily, not only because the food is great, but because the level of respect and appreciation they show to their customers is exceptional. Highly recommended! Hamad
The falafel here is good. Flavorful, crunchy on the outside, soft inside, flavorful. I’ve had a lot of other “fast food” and food truck falafel and always disappointed either it’s too dry or too mushy or not enough flavor. But this falafel meets the mark for acceptable falafel quality.
The hummus and Baba ghanoush were good as well. Enjoyed the tahini dipping sauce. Pita bread was just okay, standard.
I really enjoyed the lamb patties. They actually taste like lamb and not just filler!
The only thing I felt didn’t hit the mark was the shawarma. The shawarma is meaty, with minimal taste of fillers, and is flavorful, but tastes like it didn’t use the traditional process of cooking. It tastes pan fried/roasted instead of marinated and slowly roasted/rotisserized. It still tastes good and flavorful, but it’s just doesn’t hit the mark to me for traditional shawarma.
Not a lot of seating, but was asked to put tables together to accommodate a bigger group. Everything was better than expected quality for the price. Would come back.
Note: For those wondering, no, there is no tzatziki sauce. My mom always asks for it, which is why I mention it. Lol.
The whole experience reminded me a lot of great arab restaurants I’ve tried before.
The only bad thing I can think of is that the combo dish with meat addition had a little amount of meat for ‘meat added ‘ dish.
