Reviews
Firstly, there was a glaring issue with our order. We intended to enjoy a simple meal – just one pizza to share. However, due to what seemed like a lack of attention or perhaps miscommunication, our order was incorrectly doubled, resulting in an unnecessary expense of $50.
When we attempted to address this with the staff member, his response was far from satisfactory. He refused to correct the order, stating that he had already informed the kitchen, which felt like a dismissive excuse rather than a legitimate reason. His approach lacked any semblance of kindness or understanding, which is fundamental in customer service.
Moreover, his overall demeanor was unaccommodating. He barely paid attention to what we were saying, making us feel unheard and undervalued as customers. This kind of interaction is not what one expects when stepping into an establishment known for its fast and friendly service.
In conclusion, this experience was a significant departure from the quality and service I’ve come to expect from Little Caesars. I hope this feedback serves as a constructive point for the team at the Alameda branch to improve their service standards and ensure no other customer has to face a similar situation.
I contacted the store to inquire where my order disappeared to. I was told by the employee that they NEVER received the order even though I had a receipt and “delivery” confirmation. This a-hole proceeded to tell me that not only was I not getting my order, but I also wasn’t getting a refund!
Thankfully, the email receipt had a customer service number to call. Not only did I get a refund, I was told a complaint would be filed on my behalf against the store and the Grub Hub driver who took the tip without giving me my order.
After reading these reviews, I’m happy I didn’t get that pizza. It probably would’ve been as bad as the customer service at this location. Sounds like they need to get some new staff and management.
Another negative experience I had here was with the same employee. I arrived and he said my pizzas would take an extra 10 minutes, I left then returned after about 15. He then mixed up one of the pizzas, a Hawaiian, which is 12 dollars, with a sausage, worth 9 dollars, and when I asked him about this he said that he gave my Hawaiian to someone else, and that it would be another 15 minutes. I don’t recommend this location at all. The one on international in oakland has much better service.
It is childhood memories for me, as I still live here in Alameda.
Of course, due to the pandemic, everything had to be ordered and either cooked fresh, or you can download their app, and order online.
When it is really busy, yes, even the app can give a false notification indicating that your pizza is ready, when it was not.
I have only experienced this one time though in the 30 plus years I have been going to this Little Caesars, and that was during the Superbowl this year, which is normally their peak day of the year anyways.
Food is great, and I love the fact that since the pandemic has eased up, now they are back to Hot and Ready Pizza.
That is the bread and butter of why I love them. Great pizza, and very cheap price. A large pizza under 8 dollars ready to go is hard to come by, nowadays.
And I love their 5 dollar lunch combos of a personal deep dish and soda.
Any negativity? I just missed the fact it used to be at the Central station in the plaza on Central, near the laundry room, by Paganos.
Parking was plentiful there. Webster Street isn’t the most lavish location for parking, as opposed to walking.
Will keep coming and ordering when I have those cravings, yum!
