I drove from Carbondale for these awesome donuts and coffee.
The guy working the counter was excellent, with great individualized customer service!
We tried the bacon donut long john, and it was terrific. The donuts were fresh, not greasy. My favorite place to get a good donut is this area!
Worth the drive at 6:30 am.

Stumbled onto this place this morning and we were pleasantly surprised. It’s the legacy (okd fashioned homemade) style donut shop. Nice selection of both donuts and cookies. We will tell others.

EXCEEDED EXPECTATIONS!
I placed an order only a few days before an event and gave them a few inspiration pictures. I told them I wouldn’t mind if they could only do something simple because I was happy they were taking a last minute order.
They knocked it out of the park with these cookies! I fully expected to be charged twice as much as I was.
Love this locally owned business for all my cake, cookie, and donuts!

Marks Bakery is one of, if not the best, bakery in southern Illinois. Their donuts of all kinds are delicious. The cream horns are my favorite. Their cookies are adorable and really good too. Customer service is great. All the workers there are helpful and kind. A great place to buy delicious pastries.

Best bakery ever!! They have everything made fresh everyday. Everything I’ve ever tried is so delicious. And the cookies r amazing. They taste good and she always does some themed with the season or just cool ones. I went at 9am on a Saturday morning and they was all sold out if that tells u anything. And the prices r great I feel like it’s cheaper than Casey’s donuts and they r better.
