Perfect place to stop for a bite to eat if you are traveling through! We were on our way to Mount Rushmore from Casper and I found this place on a Google search! It’s super cool and the lady at the bar is great! We had the best burgers we’ve ever had!

This is a great western bar at which to take a break to stretch your legs on your way north from Casper on I-25. The barmaid is friendly and will get you informed on local history. They serve an excellent selection of beers on tap that are brewed by Black Tooth Brewery. The patrons are friendly and talkative and easy to swap stories about their travels through and love for Wyoming.
The bar itself is decorated with an interesting, eclectic collection of bric-a-brac and photos that will make you smile.

While you are in Kaycee, don’t forget to walk a block more down the street to visit Chris LeDoux Memorial Park.

This place was amazing! I stopped here after overnighting at the rest stop. I had Traci as a waitress and she recommended their local special.

Not only was the food amazing, the service was as well. Coming from Dallas, I know very little what a small town life is like. She did mention they have rodeos here every other Friday during the summer and I’m going to absolutely have to come back at some point to experience that.

Thank you so much! I’ll definitely come and visit Kaycee again!

Sincerely,

– Alex

Invasion Bar exceeded our expectations. I enjoyed the Chef’s salad. My spouse had the steak salad with the most tender pieces of sirloin. Service was friendly and prompt. If you have the opportunity to visit, enjoy! You will not be disappointed.

Wow. Stop off the interstate for one of the best burgers around. Some random gal was sitting at the bar playing guitar and she was SPECTACULAR! Highly recommend the small treasure.

Great small town (about 250) bar and restaurant. Small town of Kaycee WY w/ rich history of cowboy wars and current day rodeo champs. Good breakfast served by cheerful staff. We just might go back for dinner tonight or tomorrow as we are at the local RV park waiting for the wx to warm up b4 continuing our trek north to NE Montana

One of my favorite places in the world, as it was where I first met Chris LeDoux. Bar food is fine, and the drinks are cheap. It is like going back in time knowing that some of the best country music ever made was dreamed up by one man who frequented this place.

This is a must stop! It’s a rustic little bar restaurant with a great vibe. We ate in the bar at lunch time while traveling through with my elderly parents. The folks had burgers and said they were outstanding. I happen to be vegan, so eating at a bar is always a challenge, however they were extremely accommodating and I was very pleasantly surprised by a large chefs salad with a variety of toppings! I had expected just lettuce with tomatoes (which seems to be bar fare standard) but this was exceptional! They also happily made a baked potato with mushrooms per my request. Very satisfied. The owner served us and she was very personable, chatting with my folks for a bit and continually making sure we had all we needed. Wonderful experience and great food!! Highly recommend.
