I have tried That in so many different places but never was disappointed. By the time we reached nice location where we thought to enjoy the food by the Norwegian fjord, we couldn’t eat at all & had to grab some other food & spend again. Once you are in the Highway, options are very limited too.
Not recommend at all
firstly, food is not spicy at all, maybe if you like spice, you can ask them to add chili? tom yum gai was more like tomato soup that’s a sour. but they gave quite a lot of meat and ingredients. secondly, the noodles are not “kway teow” but more like rice noodles. but anyway, it was still okay, just weirdly sweet. it helps if you think of it as char kway teow (cause that’s also sweet and quite popular in singapore).
also, i can’t believe that they sell whole durians too (or at least it was in the back store)! didn’t try that, but still interesting to note.

The warmth of the staff’s friendly and welcoming smiles set the tone for our experience. For our meal, we opted for Pad See Ew Gai and Chicken with Cashew Nuts, served with rice. The portions were impressively large, easily satisfying two people, and the flavors truly captured an authentic essence.
However, I do have a preference for Thai dishes with a bit less gravy-like consistency. The Pad See Ew noodles were not the traditional thicker variety, and the presence of gravy seemed slightly out of place. Similarly, the Chicken with Cashew Nuts resembled more of a stew-like massaman curry in texture. Nonetheless, the robust flavors were undeniably present, and I believe these observations may vary based on individual tastes.
In conclusion, Narvik Thai Takeaway offers an inviting ambiance and flavors that evoke the essence of Thailand. While some dishes deviated slightly from my personal preferences, the authenticity and hospitality of the establishment are commendable. Whether you’re a seasoned Thai food enthusiast or new to the cuisine, it’s a place worth exploring.
