Great place and very family-friendly. The drinks were excellent, and the portion sizes were generous. We ordered a sharing platter for two and still had leftovers to take home. The service was outstanding — the staff were friendly and attentive. The food arrived quicker than we expected. Overall, a fantastic restaurant and we’ll definitely be back!

The interior had a charming, barn-style feel that we really enjoyed—warm, rustic, and inviting. The staff were polite, friendly, and attentive, checking in regularly without being intrusive. Our food arrived quickly, and everything was delicious. We ordered the smokehouse platter, and every piece of meat was perfectly cooked—succulent, juicy, and full of flavor. Dessert was excellent, and the complimentary celebration board for our first night out as a family of three was a thoughtful touch. The only downside was the limited drink selection, which could use more variety. Overall, it was a great experience, and we would definitely return.

I’ll definitely be returning! The service was fantastic welcoming, polite, and friendly from start to finish. The food was spot on, and the inside feels lovely and warm with a beautifully done interior. Highly recommend trying this place — you won’t be disappointed.

Absolutely delicious. Three of us went out for lunch on a Saturday and the restaurant was packed but for good reason. Food was delicious and the price was reasonable for the portion sizes. We ended up taking home lots of left overs, yum!
Sally was our server and she was friendly and very helpful.

Brilliant food and service. I had a great time and ate way too much food. I had the chicken wings to start with the bourbon glaze which were some of the best tasting wings I have had. For main I went with the brisket which was cooked perfectly and was so soft. For desert I had a sundae which tasted fantastic.

Nice new restaraunt overlooking the Caldecotte lake. Parking is shared with the Premier Inn hotel but we didn’t have any issues finding a space. (Parking is free at time of writing).
The restaurant is Southern USA themed – menu is heavily focused on carnivores and meat enthusiasts, but if you are a vegan/vegetarian, there are options available for you. A selection of drinks are also available, I went for their homemade cloudy lemonade which was delicious.
Our server was Sally who always made sure we were happy. Friendly and quick service as well, food wasn’t piping hot – a comfortable temperature for consumption.
If you plan on having dessert, I would recommend the cookies & “frozen custard”, the flavour of which wasn’t overpowering but also not too weak. It worked well with the ice cream consistency.

We finally got the chance to visit Hickory’s Smokehouse in Milton Keynes and we had such a brilliant experience from start to finish. The booking process is very easy via their website. Plenty of parking in the car pack. All staff members we came into contact with were very helpful and friendly. Our waitress Lorna, was one of the best waitresses we have ever had at any restaurant. She goes above and beyond to make sure you enjoy your meal and experience at Hickory’s. She was constantly on the go to make sure everybody in her section was happy and nothing was any trouble for her. The food itself was superb. I had one of the BBQ trays which was so nice. The food was well cooked and very tasty. The drinks were really nice as well. I tried a grape float soda and a blueberry lemonade. I would highly recommend Hickory’s and can’t wait to go back as soon as we can. Thank you.

My new favourite restaurant! Greeted by very friendly staff at the door, shown to our seats and asked about our day, the server came over after a little while and made pleasant conversation with us and asked if it was a special occasion or just trying something new. All the staff are incredibly friendly, warm and welcoming. The food was out quickly considering if was a weekend and let me tell you it did not disappoint!! We went for the sharing platter with a side of mac n cheese. Highly recommend this place!! We will be back

We had a great first meal at Hickory’s. We booked around 2 weeks in advance and highly recommend doing this, especially if you want to go on the weekend. All staff were super friendly and welcoming, and offered advice about the menu. The booth seating was super comfortable. We really enjoyed the food. It is expensive but we felt the portion sizes were generous, even with the drinks too. Overall, a lovely experience and we’re looking forward to returning.

First time at Hickory’s. Loved it. The food is incredible. We shared the plater so we could experience a little of everything. The chicken wings were my favourite. Was like eating meat sweets. The beer was good as well and then the lovely touch of a free birthday donut.
