My wife and I have been eating here since it was The German Pub. We decided to visit them at their new location for our favorite German dishes.
The decor in the new place is very minimal and I’m sure they will work on that as they settle into the new spot. Besides us, there was only one other table when we placed our order: 2 pretzels, Wiener schnitzel, Jägerschnitzel (both with home fries) and cucumber salad.
The waitress did not write down our order.
We waited about 15 minutes then our main dished arrived. The waitress forgot to put in the pretzel order. It finally showed up about 15 minutes later with the excuse “the cook thought you wanted them after your meal”. The schnitzels and homefries were swimming in grease and the potatoes were undercooked.
On the ride home my wife told me our waitress was doing shots with a customer at the bar. The owner was sitting along side them at the bar and with either oblivious or just didn’t care.
I don’t know how to feel about tonight’s experience but I’m thinking I need to find a new restaurant to spend my heard earned money. I don’t think this situation (food or servers) is going to improve.

Some good german beer choices including hofbrau which is one of the best…and some good food.. the jagerschnitzel is very good with the mushroom gravy. The homemade apple strudel with ice cream is pretty tasty as well! If you like just a touch of germany go check this place out!

I was so excited to eat some German food but it does not tase authentic. Schnitzel is rough to cut, sauces are not seasoned properly and neither is the red cabbage. My potato dumpling (Knödel) was hard like a rock on the inside. Absolutely undercooked

I haven’t been home to Germany in a few years so I was missing the German food. Found this little gem and decided to give them a shot. I ordered the “I love Germany” plate. Came with 1 bratwurst 1 frankfurter and my choice of schnitzel so I went with the classic Jägerschnitzel. I chose the sauerkraut and spätzel for my 2 sides. I was absolutely blown away by how delicious the food was. The spätzel are home made which is rare to find. Other German restaurants typically use the dried bag spätzel. This dish just exploded on my palette with all the flavors and reminded me of home. The staff was amazing and kind. Just an overall wonderful experience. Thank you!

Excellent German food, great prices and a friendly and welcoming staff. One of the staff members is actually a co-owner and he really takes care of you. Excellent selection of German beers and food. You’d think you were in-country.
Definitely try a Franziskaner beer (made by monks).

My family really enjoyed our visit to this restaurant! The food was amazing! We all ordered the taste of Germany combo plate. Large portions! We were able to share a plate and still have leftovers. Everything was fresh and flavorful!! Highly recommend the butter cake! Out of this world!!

Great food, atmosphere, and the service is top notch (Thanks Raul for a great evening and conversation!). It looks a little divey on the outside but worth a visit if you’re feeling adventurous or if you’re familiar with German food and need to satisfy that craving. Try the sausage platter, brats, the shnitzel, oh and their giant freshly made pretzels (with beer cheese) along with your .5L glass of German beer on tap! The entire menu looks fantastic but I can’t eat it all in one sitting unfortunately to know for sure hahaha! And yes, they have Das Boot!
Highly recommend it! Prost!

This was my first visit and I couldn’t ask for a better experience. This is a very welcoming pub with wonderful service. The decor is spot on, I especially loved the German and American flags and the steins!
Today’s special was a schnitzel plate for 5.99!!!!
What a deal! The food came out hot and delicious! The dessert selection was spectacular, we chose apple strudel with vanilla ice cream, and butter cake with vanilla ice cream. PERFECTLY made. Not too sweet, and way too scrumptious!
I asked when Bratwurst was on special… Wednesday, and fish special is Friday. Great lunch visit.
Danke Schoen
