We were back in the area and returned to Good Fellows on a Saturday evening for dinner. Although it was quite busy, the kitchen was producing orders with amazing efficiency. Our service was very professional and small town friendly too. I enjoyed the grilled shrimp and a delicious cocktail from the bar. We have dined at very good restaurants in larger cities, and Good Fellows stacks up well. Thanks for your values and your commitment to excellence.

This is one of those small town hidden gems that you need to come visit. It has a nostalgic inviting atmosphere. The wait staff are friendly and efficient.
I had the Rice Bowl with Shrimp and it was really good. Veggies were fresh and tasty and the shrimp done to perfection. For dessert, I had the Rhubarb Crisp with homemade ice cream and it was AMAZING. Save room for this. The craft beer selection was good with 5-6 different styles from various local breweries. I’ll be making the 2 hour drive to visit this place again.

In town on business, so after a long day or not eating, I was looking for something good and filling. Heard about Good Fellows from the locals so decided to pop in. A warm greeting and off to the table we went. Since it was just me, it was a small table. Makes sense for the smaller location, but it was a smaller than I’m used to and I didn’t want to take a whole big table for myself.
Ordered my standard, a cheeseburger with fries and a Root Beer.
First, the Root Beer. It was perfect. Tasted like cane sugar without the terrible after taste of most. Was very nice.
Next, the cheeseburger. Came on a brioche bun and tomatoes and lettuce on the side (ordered specifically without pickles or onions). Was very delicious! Was not expecting it to taste that good and with nearly zero grease all over the place. Didn’t put any ketchup on it, it was great without it. Loved it.
Last, the fries. I saved them for because this was the home run for me. I assume the ketchup in the dipping cup is store brand, but it sure didn’t taste like it. The fries are crinkle cut, but crispy and not a single soggy one in the lot. They look litely seasoned and are good by themselves, but paired with the ketchup, it was outstanding! Was not expecting that from just ketchup and fries. There were a lot of them, as you can see in the picture, but they were so good, I cleaned the plate and nearly exploded.
Overall, was a delicious dinner that I will tell everyone about. It really was that good and that surprising. Will definitely be back next time I’m here.

I had the mushroom Swiss burger with fries and it was delicious. My mom had one of the wraps with fries and she really enjoyed hers as well. Lunch is a different experience than dinner but it was very delicious and enjoyable. We will definitely return whenever we are in woodbine.

We are frequent visitors and tonight was a no the breading on the chicken fried steak was tough and the shrimp had buffalo lemon pepper seasoning and that lemon was hardly there but the pepper was over the top waaay too much
