Their porridge was exactly the kind of warm, comforting meal I needed. It is surprisingly difficult to find a place that serves properly flavorful Korean porridge (juk), but this spot absolutely nails it. The texture and taste were spot on—authentic and soothing without being bland. We also tried the seafood tofu soup. It had a good depth of flavor and plenty of tofu.

Quaint shop just outside HMart. Ordered Chicken Juk and Shrimp and Shiitake Juk. Server was courteous, quick, and explained yummy side dishes. Just was just what my body needed to fully recover from a head cold. Nourishing and filling without feeling stuffed. This will definitely be my spot of choice when I crave a healing, comfort food.

It’s really tucked away in the plaza, but that just means it’s going to be wicked tasty! A true hidden gem. My friends and I have never experienced Juk and it was amazing! This is a family-owned small business, and the daughter was the one who took care of us – she was super sweet, friendly and attentive! Honestly, even if you don’t like porridge, there’s other just as flavorful options on the menu.
Don’t sleep on this place! I’m not local, but I’m definitely going to come back when I visit again!!

We recently visited this porridge place for the first time and I have to say, it was an incredible experience from start to finish. It feels cozy and homier even we know it’s a restaurant.
The menu was equally impressive. There were so many delicious-sounding porridge and bulgogi plate that we had a hard time deciding what to order. In the end, we went with the chicken porridge and beef bulgogi, and we have to say, it was one of the best meals we’ve had in a long time. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the presentation was neat.
The service was also top-notch. Our server was attentive and friendly without being overbearing, and our drinks were always refilled promptly.
If you’re looking for a warm comfy food experience with exceptional food and service, this is the place to go. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

Delicious food, locally owned and very welcoming owners! They’re known for their porridges, however I’ve recently been eating their bento boxes and they’re quite filling without giving you that uncomfortable satiation. Clean and filling.

I got the beef juk and the abalone juk. The abalone juk had a very strong seafood flavor and was very delicious. The beef juk was also a good choice, but just a bit bland. They gave us a side dish of fish cake, bean sprouts, and some kimchi(?). Overall the food was really good and would be perfect for when you’re sick or on a cold night.

I’ve been wanting to try this place for a while. We came for lunch on this rainy day and for me, this porridge really hit the spot. I did add the little red pickled dish into the porridge which added more flavor. I do want to come back to try some other flavors. Today I had the crab and my friend had the seafood. This is a small place but it was clean and the service was fine.

It was probably the best soup I’ve ever had. I’m not exaggerating. They also are very generous with proportions and the food. A one-person meal could probs feed 2-3. I went alone because I wanted to do some work. There was no one there except me :(! The lady who served me was super nice. I really appreciate her service and talking to me. LOVE the abalone porridge here so so yummy!!! The hot stone beef rice pot is also fire!!! The service is also fast and super friendly. Highly recommend, I could eat their porridge EVERYDAY if possible their side dishes are also sweet and yummy.
