I didn’t get a picture of our appetizer before it was destroyed, but regardless it was delicious, especially the Mesa fries with the pork green chile. The sandwiches were great too.

I was driving thru and stumbled upon this gem. I walked in an everyone turned to look at me, and I was worried it was that local only place. Oh it is, but in the best way possible. They made room for me at the bar, got me a bingo card and instantly, I was in on the fun. Closed the place down (which is early and they don’t play about showing you the door-respect). The portions are huge. I will be eating the bread pudding for the next few days, glad I ordered it first. A must get. Prices are great too. I had 2 beers, a pulled pork sandwich with fries (that came with a steak knife) and the bread pudding for under $35. Say what! Next time, stopping again.

I did a order with them through their online website and once I received the order. i took a bite only to have to spit it out after only tasting burnt. my burger was burnt. literally charcoal. i could not eat that. i did ask for it to be well done but not to the extreme its overcooked, black, and hard. I was so exhausted after working 2 jobs i was hungry and this definitely wasn’t what i was expecting. i have ordered from there before and it was fine last time so i know the burger isn’t supposed to be like that. I didnt know what to do i was tired and just wanted something to eat. I called them to see what could be done and was answered by a girl who later passed the phone to the “manager” which was extremely rude. I explained to her how the order wasn’t up to my expectations because it was literally burnt and she dismissed it and did not care. she said there was nothing that could be done about it since it was online, but i literally ordered directly off their website. their website doesn’t have any contact option. that is why i called the restaurant i wasn’t expected to be dealt with in such a unprofessional matter. along with that they had also forgot my drink. after how mean she had been, at the end the manager said she could re make the burger but i ordered delivery for a reason. I was home after working overnight and a previous job before that i would have to get ready and make my way to the restaurant i was just so exhausted i wanted to eat something . plus i had tipped very well for the delivery. all for nothing if i had to go back there to get my burger and all the time spent ordering it online,waiting, calling them, and i also did not want to be met with these mean people I spoke with over the phone just to pick up the burger. I never got a refund and I never got the food corrected. I feel very disappointed.

Food was good, had the cheapest burger $18 but it is cooked to order and about 1/2lb. First burger I’ve had in a long time that I couldn’t finish, so good on that. Came with giant plate of fries that were also good. Also had chicken Alfredo pasta, creamy sauce with good flavor that came with two pieces of garlic bread. Pasta &chicken were good, garlic bread also good but needed more butter imo.

Our server was excellent, very attentive and prompt, although the restaurant side was only 3 tables of customers. The place has new furniture and it themed cute and professional.
My only complaint was how LOUD the bar customers were. Since the restaurant is only separated by a wall with a giant cut out, the drunks voices carried well. Glass in the wall to help with the noise without detracting from the ambiance and style, that would make this place a 5 star, instead for now, 4 star it is.

This place is really nice. Kinda out in the middle of this quaint little town… Food is pretty good the service is pretty good not too busy but I could see you being busy later on in the day is there a green chili is pretty good. The cocktails are decently priced, very decently priced… We’re used to paying quite a bit more where we’re from.

I loved this place so much. My husband and I wanted to try something different, something out of town. I looked up places and seen a bear and immediately wanted to go just because of the theme.
walked in was greeted right away, sat down and got our drinks right away too!
food came out hot and very fresh. (side salad was awesome and looked so nice)

Food was gross, I would suggest not putting so much pepper on your fries. Mac and cheese, Alfredo sauces were off along with the pasta not being cooked all the way. The pork sandwich would taste better without the coleslaw on the bun which was really runny, and the monte Cristo breaded was too thick which took away from the taste of the sandwich as a whole. The only thing that is good is probably the grilled cheese sandwich which is on the kids meal.
That being said our waitress was amazing, super attentive, made sure we were good and never let our cups go empty.

Stopped through on our trip back home to Boulder from Grand junction. It was the best food that we found on our entire trip. All the other food we had was not impressive. So glad that we found it, what a little gem. My husband got the B&G and I got the fried chicken and gravy bowl. We both really enjoyed our meals and like the portion sizes. I also got a big chunk of bread pudding. So good and tasted just like my mama made. We definitely will be back even though we’re 4 hours away.

Wonderful place tucked away but they have an excellent selection to choose from. Friendly service, great prices, and the food was great. I would highly recommend if you’re traveling or staying overnight in the hotel.
