One thing about the Peruvian chicken place is the freshness which depends on quick turn over. When we visited around 6pm, the restaurant was empty and chicken we got was reheated. While spice/marinade was good but it was average. If we have gotten the freshly cooked chicken it would be a lot better. Its coleslaw was to my liking, other sides were average.

TU Chicken is a great spot! The chicken is crispy, tasty, and always fresh. Their sauces are really good too. Prices are fair and the service is fast and friendly. I’ve been here a few times and the quality is always consistent. Definitely recommend giving it a try!

I came here before it was rebranded for the third time but the chicken was very very good. I definitely recommend it if you just want a whole yummy chicken. I need to come here after the rebrand but the inside looks the exact same so I would assume that they use the same recipe.

The food is amazing. Hands down best puruvian style chicken we’ve had. Idk how they managed, but white meat. Dark meat, and wings are all cooked perfectly. It’s incredibly impressive and I want to know their secret. Yuka are crispy and tender – perfection. Plantains are also great, tho, those r difficult to mess up. They should have better reviews and would love to see more customers – they deserve it. Likely the most underrated restaurant in Herndon

Worst food and customer service ever. Never had such experience. Went their with my two kids and ordered full chicken with 2 sides. They gave me cold chicken and my kids couldn’t eat at all. When asked the cashier he said it just five minutes and even he didn’t offer to warm it since they already turn off their rotisserie. Instead of say sorry he just arguing with me. I went this store multiple times. They when i left they just turned off their. I never post a review for any store but this store really felt me bad. Please don’t go this store ever. I wish I can give negative review.

I love Peruvian chicken and have a few regular places I go like El Pollo Rico and Super Chicken. This place is nearby and gets good reviews so I thought I’d try it. What a mistake. I got a whole chicken and 2 sides for or $25 + tax and tip. The disappointment started when I got home and saw the two smallest sides I’ve ever seen come with a whole chicken. I was then shocked to see the smallest chicken I’ve ever had from any Peruvian place. And to top it off, it wasn’t even good. Somehow it was both dry and still potentially not fully cooked. We ended up throwing it away and getting something else. Worst experience I’ve had in a while.

Great Peruvian chicken and other South American fare. That said, one of my favorites is the steak and cheese! I’ve tried multiple items and all have been great. Plus eating lunch in Reston for under $15 without resorting to fast food is very difficult, and this places delivers every time.
