What an Incredible food truck, super kind and helpful staff. had great suggestions and helped us customize orders with a smile. the Bear Burrito was TO DIE FOR!!! with the fried cheese on the outside. great price for the amount of food and amazing location with good parking as well. the sandwhich and Burger were also super delicious.

We walked to Mama Bear’s from the Waimea Plantation Cottages for breakfast and it was well worth the walk. We both had the Monte Bear Cristo and devoured it quickly.

Food was delicious, everything we ordered was juicy and filling. The truck is on the main road, easy to find, tables are available, parking is free and can accomodate around 15 cars, no other trucks available. Prices are moderate for Kauai. The only disturbing factors are the flies trying to eat with you and the smell of garbage that is nearby.

Stopped here for breakfast on the way to a boat tour, and had one of the best burritos of my life (the bear-rito). 100% recommend. Pictured is the last vestiges of my burrito before it disappeared forever, but I was reminded of the phrase “don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened.” You will not be disappointed!

I love Mama Bear’s Kitchen! We almost stopped across the street at a different place but it had tourist vibes and not the best reviews so at the last second I said what about this food truck across the street? My family trusts my ability to make a good choice when it comes to restaurants so we all piled back in the car and drove to the food truck where the good food was haha. Honestly one of the best sandwiches ever. Everything on the menu looked good. Fair pricing. And kind employees. Highly recommended to anyone in the area if you want some good food.

The person who waited on us was very courteous and friendly and polite and brought the lunch out to our car.

Just got off the Na Pali boat tour and were starving! Randomly drove by this food truck and my husband made a quick u-turn. We couldn’t have chosen a better burger! It was so good! Please don’t think twice about stopping for a great burger. And the tables to eat there were CLEAN!

I was a little worried when I got there and they didn’t have much left in their show case but it turns out there was a reason for that. This place is great. We tried a couple sandwiches and some donuts and every single thing was amazing. I was sad that we found it so for to the end of our trip. Will definitely be stopping there tomorrow before our flight leaves. They still limit it to four guests inside which I enjoyed with as many people that we saw on our trip that were sick.
