I first had Super Mex over 20 years ago as a child. Finally in 2025 I was able to make it back to have it again. It did not disappoint!
I got the mini chimis and the beef burrito. It was the perfect meal after a nice swim at the beach. I hope to return again soon

Started off amazingly good with the server bring not one but two salsas for our chips!! My wife had her own and I had my own so that was an A+ for the first 5 minutes. Beer came fast and the happy hour selection is great! The chips and salsa were amazing. One of the best salsas ive ever had for chips and salsa, the chips were good but not delicious. I highly recommend this place!

A favorite beach local mex cafe that’s casual, comfortable and consistently good. It’s not pretentious, and entree plates are full. I hate entree plates that show more of the bottom of the plate than food. Good beers on tap too.

The best Mexican food around. We have been coming here for years, and it never disappoints. Delicious food, great service, and good drinks to top it off. Any combo meal is delicious and the chile relleno burrito is amazing! Chips and salsa? Perfect. Do not sleep on Super Mex!

Not a fan of the pinto beans… or the shredded cheese they use in the tacos. Fresh cheese would have been way better. Ordered no lettuce in my taco.. I ended up getting a taco with a lot of lettuce. They put way too much pinto beans on my plate that it covered the one enchilada that I did have on my plate.. so that sucked. The same cheap shredded cheese was used in the quesadilla-and also they barely put much cheese In it as well, which also sucked. It was okay for a quick bite but it’s nothing that we will get excited about planning on going soon.

My son and I were sick so I placed a to go order. Picked it up, got to my house and there were no chips and salsa, utensils or napkins. I called and they said I can come back and get some. I don’t live close to the location, and figured they would remake my crispy tacos since I had to drive back. But according to Jose, the manager said no and wouldn’t remake my food. The shells were soggy and disgusting. Never returning! Been a loyal customer since the 90’s. Terrible customer service! And on top of it all, the 2 taco combo cost me over $16!!!!! Outrageous!

We ordered take out for dinner. Food was delicious. We ordered the super burrito in red and green salsa. We got a ceviche tostada. Portion of the ceviche was generous. They gave us plenty of utensils and napkins. We also ordered and appetizer and it was on point. Will definitely stop by here again.

Super Mex food is 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ no matter what you order. I should have written a review years ago. Just had a carne asada wet burrito w/ green & red sauce. It was HUGE! Tostadas & salsa are delicious as well
