Kibby’s was constantly loved for its shrimp salad sandwiches – a simple meal but can be made poorly. Kibby’s lived up to the reviews for it’s shrimp salad, flavorful, fresh and delicious. The portion is very fair and the price equally so. My starter – pretzel sticks, were warm with the fresh salty taste and cheese to dip – very good. Jasmine was sweet, and very helpful. I didn’t have to wait, great service. The place only takes a hit on the looks – torn booth seats, older worn floors, dark, sad decor. It was Friday with only 4 customers dining. I am sure 30k in renvotations can go along way to generating business. Try Kibby’s! The shrimp and service are top notch.

I went there on a Thursday for dinner and drinks and had a great time. So I suggested that my husband and another couple go on Friday. The service was not that great but it was very busy.. The food is the best. The wings are amazing but while there we encountered a very drunk person who wanted to start a fight… he showed us that he was in possession of a gun… we immediately got up and paid the bill and left. This place needs to do body searches on Friday and Saturday nights. That night could have gone terribly wrong… people could have died if we were not calm people. This is unsafe and unacceptable. I hope you start searching your patron for the safety of everyone there.

Nice Superbowl party 35.00 for tickets all you can drink domestic beer and wine and food was not bad pit beef a little tuff but all in all good. Atmosphere was nice everyone was friendly. Need to be updated and need more TVs but I would go back. Staff really nice

Haven’t been there for many years and used to enjoy their shrimp salad and salad bar and revolving dessert case. The shrimp salad was acceptable but the salad bar and dessert case are gone. The place is dark, dusty, outdated and in need of a coat of paint and new upholstery in the booth we had. Men’s room was missing ceiling tiles and paper towels were sitting on top of the faucet and had to be moved to turn on the water. The “banquet” looked like it was abandoned. Very sad the way this place has been run down.

We had a death in our family.We made a reservation for a private room to have dinner between viewings at close funeral home. We walked in and were told there was no reservation, but since the resturant only had a few guest we could sit at the front. The booth seats were falling apart, we waited over an hour for our food and the orders were not correct. Yes the shrimp salad was excellent, but with the bad atmosphere and the poor service our family will never be back. The resturant is in dire need of a remodel.

Didnt eat just had drinks after being invited by one of the locals for karaoke. I had a blast. Song selection was wonderful although the DJ turned the mic down anticipating i didnt know how to sing but i should him.. all in all we all had a blast.

Ordered a crab cake protein style. It came with steak fries and coleslaw. Crab cake was delicious with no shells and minimal filler. The steak fries were hot and crispy. I didn’t care for the coleslaw. It was to wet for my taste. Overall Kibby’s was a good dinner choice and I would recommend it to friends and family.

We visited Kibby’s because we had something to do in the area. Marlene was our waitress, and I’ve NEVER experience such PHENOMENAL service — So personable, genuine, kind, gracious! She’s absolutely amazing! So much so we said upon leaving, “Let’s come back tomorrow, to see Marlene.” She’s SO amazing! I know the point of restaurant reviews is to talk about the food; however, Marlene was our 1st impression because we experienced her before we experienced the food. People are quick to jump online to shoot people and restaurants down, when not pleased — So I wanted to come on highlight Marlene. I’ve dined at the finest of restaurants, and they fail in comparison to the great customer service we experienced because of her. Additionally, EVERYTHING we ordered was PERFECT! The rockfish bites were phenomenal, the cream of crab soup, shrimp salad, crabcake and my rib eye (topped with Italian style topping) was better than Ruth’s Chris — This place is a hidden treasure, and Marlene is a diamond, in the midst of it all. Can’t wait to go back — I’ll call to see if Marlene is working first, though!
