Went in to grab a sandwich. Returned home to eat it and found a hair baked into the bread of my sandwich. Took it back to show them and was told by the manager it couldn’t of been any of his staffs fault.
No accountability or customer service. There is another subway 3 miles away and they are excellent compared to this one.

This is an excellent Subway! Nice young man hustled hard to work on the online orders and the in-store people and he was making awesome sandwiches and maintaining a nice calm atmosphere. Veggies were all crisp and fresh, everything was clean, functional, well stocked!

I came into the store a little before noon on a Saturday and Zach was the only one there. I could tell that he had been hard at work. But still greeted me promptly and warmly. I asked for wheat bread which was still warm. He made a perfect hinge cut. He also had fresh chocolate chip cookies. How could I say no?
Zach is an awesome employee. Please go support him. And buy from him. I’m suggesting you buycott him specifically. I know he worked on a Saturday morning. Let’s help this good human succeed!

I mean I pretty much come here same time throughout the week and Zach is always the one who makes my sandwich. He is never in a bad mood always makes fire sandwich’s and is all out a great guy come check this place out if you get a chance.

As a business owner myself, i’m very impressed with excellent customer service because it is so lacking and the younger people working have little concept of what it takes to deliver excellent customer service. That’s why this interaction with Zach in Philomath Subway was such a standout and i felt compelled to share this review.
Upon entering, Zach was the only person working, and he was serving another customer in front of my family of four. I noticed he was very patient with this other customer as her demands were very specific and he was unphased. Then the phone started ringing and somehow he was able to answer the phone and deal with a customer’s odd sounding requests on the phone, while still engaging with his customer as he finished up her order.
Then it was our turn…my wife and my two young children who were bouncing around and creating a somewhat chaotic environment. Zach was very kind and spoke to my kids and answered all of our questions and proceeded to make us three delicious sandwiches and had a positive attitude and took pride in what he was doing. It made the experience stand out and were impressed with his excellent customer service.
Thank you for renewing my faith in the younger employees in service related jobs – some of you understand what it takes to deliver a great experence. Good luck, Zach. thanks for your A+ attitude, it will take you far.
