Incredible, authentic & affordable at Angi’s. We were in town for the book sale & stopped there today to eat.
With the snow coming, almost no where was open, & what an excellent choice
This hidden gem is down a long hallway in uptown Washington. The settings atmosphere are clean & modern.
Sergio & Angi are very friendly & made us feel like family while we were there

Late breakfast egg wrap, Delicious!!
Just walk in from main / or back entrance (near courthouse)
Ate in… clean & quiet at that moment…
not a problem, but i could’ve done without children’s broadcast on the screen / maybe just South American YouTube crashing long-surf video to match the Super-Authentic Latin music (soft not blasting)
I’ll be back soon with the friends!

We highly recommended this hidden gem if you’re in Washington, NC and seeking some great authentic Mexican food.
The prices are extremely reasonable for the quality and quantity of the food you get when ordering a dinner. EVERYTHING was delicious!
The atmosphere is clean and bright and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. They cleared empty plates and refilled drinks as needed.
Make this place a destination stop for a meal if you’re in Washington, NC.

Delicious food that’s cooked after you order. They even make the tortillas on-site! I highly recommend the shrimp hotdog, fish tacos, and quesadillas. Plus, they have the best pico!

This place is a hidden gem! It has some amazing food too. The service was very helpful and everything was brought to our table shortly after ordering. We shared a plate of fresh chips and guacamole. My wife ordered the tacos papas and I got the shrimp “hot dog” and one taco each of birria, asada, and fish. The carne asada could’ve been a bit more seasoned for my preference but everything was well cooked and the tortillas were perfectly prepared for the tacos. We will definitely be back next time we visit Washington.

Great authentic Mexican food! Staff is friendly and the prices are too low for the quality! My favorite dish are any of the tacos but if you like hot dogs you have to try their take on it, really unique and flavorful. They also accommodate to make any dish vegetarian as well. Make time to try out this joint!

The tacos al pastor were great, however the tacos de pescado were too salty and not very flavorful. You can dine in but the location isn’t great so next time I would take out.

Great local Mexican joint. My wife and I both loved our meals. Al Pastor was my personal favorite of the tacos. Wife’s favorite was the chicken quesadilla.
Seating available outside. The young man that helped us was great.
