This is my favorite local restaurant! I make the drive to Hamlin just to come here very often. The owner is very friendly and will help make sure your food meets dietary restrictions (such as gluten free diet). I had a cheesey chicken wrap, loaded baked potato, and chips (all pictured). Extra sauce is provided on the table and the meals are good size portions. I can’t think of anything negative to say! This is by far the best restaurant in Hamlin and I would definitely consider it one of the best restaurants in the greater Charleston area; it is well worth the drive.

If I could give this place more stars, I would…the food is Haven for your mouth, delicious!!! The service there is second to no other place i have ever ate at before. For these girls to be so young, they were right on top of their game. Carnivore BBQ is a must go visit restaurant! So glad we detoured to visit Carnivore BBQ! Not only was the service fantastic (our server was so sweet!), but the food was super delicious and hit our table quickly. The brisket was some of the best I’ve ever had (and I’ve had a fair bit), the sauces were incredible, the collard greens were on point (apple cider vinegar – who knew?), and holy jeebus if you do nothing else, get the deep fried deviled eggs. Make this your top BBQ stop in WV!

Very nice place, drove about 40 minutes to get there and it was well worth the drive. Wish she would open a restaurant in the poca area. Food was great, service was great, clean, loved the decor. Highly recommend

Holy cow….. AMAZING! I’m extremely picky when it comes to good meat and these guys exceeded all expectations. Was our first time coming by, so the super cool and awesome waitress offered us a meat sampler. I’ve never had smoked chicken that good! The photo of the nachos I attached may look messy, but my god they were fantastic. I can’t wait to make another trip down there for more brisket

I have been here a few times and have liked everything I tried! This last time I had the giant Dino Tator which I could not quite finish. It was stuffed with pulled pork, cheese, bacon, tomato, and other goodies.
