If I could give them 20 stars, I would. Authentic Nigerian food +good service and good people. Sometimes I order lots of moi moi just to keep in the fridge because it’s that good. Everything I’ve tried from the dun dun to the pepper soup to the rice and fish is good! Literally everything is good. The pepper soup I took a photo of after eating some of the meat lol. My favorite part of the pepper soup is that the meat doesn’t have bones. Do you understand the freedom of simply enjoying your food without fighting to find out how much meat is actually left because your plate of soup is full of bones?

I used to drive to their other location but now this one is only 25 minutes from home.

So glad I made it to the new JC location of Olaide’s Kitchen with friends tonight! The food and service are excellent, and the restaurant is clean and welcoming. Portions are generous and filling, so on this cold winter night it was very easy to share. I heartily recommend this place, especially to those new to West African cuisine.

I had a very good experience at Olaide’s. The restaurant is small and cozy. Very clean and nicely decorated. Good Afrobeats playing. The servers were thorough and friendly. The plantains were the freshest and largest order of plantains I have ever had.

I’m talking about 10/10 food, service, everything!

Today I got a full tray of jollaf rice catered and I got the assorted meats to try. Delicious!

I’ll definitely be back real soon 🙂

So glad that I decided to try out this place. The food is full of taste and flavor. I tried waakye with chicken and it was goat soup and both were pure soul food. You can tell everything is made authentic. The goat soup was tender and spicy—exactly what I needed. I’ll be back for sure!
