First time ever going in to dine, its not what I expected. The women at the counter was very short with us like we were bothering her. We ordered and wow was it expensive. We sat at one of the 2 booths the table was sticky. I had to hold the table down with my foot while we ate because someone had moved the piece of cardboard that was stuffed under the leg so it wouldn’t wobble, it wasn’t a little wobble either. The dining area needs some love that’s for sure. Food was ok but the chicken fingers we got to go were soggy and mushy. We always open our fortune cookies before we leave and it was almost like it was moist, it unfolded instead of cracking open like a normal one should. I guess I just expected more with all the great reviews

Excellent Chinese food and friendly staff, conveniently located right at Halfway in Old Orchard Beach. Prices are reasonable. However, be prepared to wait quite some time for your order, if you go on Christmas Eve like I did. Had to wait over 90 minutes for my order to be ready. Not the fault of the establishment of course, but just something to be aware of. For some reason Chinese food is big with a lot of folks on Christmas Eve.

Love the food here. At first I didn’t take the place seriously because of the generic name. I always get their Buddha’s Delight, which is white rice and tofu with veggies. It’s a big portion for nine bucks. Their General Tsao chicken is also awesome. Prices are affordable and the service is fast.

I’ve been ordering Chinese takeout from China Eatery for nearly 10 years, a minimum of once a month. When I heard they were closing it felt like I had been punched in the gut. This place has become an important part of my family’s traditions since my children were infants, and it will be sorely missed.
The egg rolls are incredible, the orange chicken is always on point, and the crab rangoons and egg drop soup are delicious. I can honestly say I’ve never had a bad meal here.
If they were to put this restaurant up for sale, I would honestly consider buying it. Every community needs a consistently good place from which to order Chinese takeout, and this place has been it in Saco/OOB. Thanks for the years of delicious meals.

I would probably give them 3.5 but it’s not allowed. I got a tidbit box that was very good, everything was cooked well and tasted great. I also got chow mei fun, not really a fan of this. Seemed lackluster and flavorless. I’ve only been here three times and almost everything has been good, I’ll be back for a fourth visit.

This place was great when they first opened. They were friendly and cared about their customers. For the past 5 years this place has truly gone downhill fast! Service began to lack, prices rose and the quality of food suffered. I was a regular customer eating here 3 times per week. One night I was 2 towns away and recommended this place to friends so we placed a $60 order for family and kids. I drove down, picked up the order and returned back. One of the kids meals was mostly incorrect. So I called to make them aware and that I would be tossing the unused portions and would like a credit for that part of the meal ($9 total). I was then heading BACK OUT to pick that child up something they wanted more local to us. The owner refused to offer a credit for the entire meal and would only credit the exact items that were wrong! I said that was ridiculous as 20% of the meal was going to do little for us. He still refused and insisted that we bring the meal back (another 25min round trip) and they would make a new one. Pretty upset now because my food is getting cold and Im wasting gas after spending a decent amount of money with them. I returned and insisted that the entire $9 meal be re-made since I did not want reheated food put back in the bag. They did not begin making the new food until I returned so I waited 20 more minutes before my order came out. I let them know we would not be coming back since they were being so cheap about a simple credit and they did not seem to care. Back in the car I opened the bag and the original portion of food was in fact cold and just thrown back in with the new hot portion. If this is how they treat regular customers who recommend them to others then its safe to say you don’t want to order here. There are plenty of great options in the surrounding area with better food and prices!

Great lunch specials and kid’s menu! Don’t be surprised if a child appears to be working the register 🙂 The kids are great and the food is yummy. Expect a 10 to 15 minute wait.

Great food and decent prices (expensive but all Chinese food is a bit more pricey than standard pizza or fried foods). It can get very busy so be prepared for that bit it’s nothing they can help, and when you get your food you’ll see why! Best Chinese I’ve had around here! General Tso Chicken is my favorite!

Food looked good but menu and service sucked!!!! Got the wrong order wanted me to return the meal. I live 30 minutes away!!! Sorry not worth my time or gas!!! Threw it away!!! Refund should have been done over the phone but not!!!!! Will never be back!!! Wok and roll from now on!!! Great food great service!!!!
