It’s Wednesday 8:30 p.m. February 25th
Google hours say 10:30 p.m.
Drive-thru automated message sorry we’re closed again it’s 8:30 p.m. on a Wednesday 2-3 employees inside
Can’t make money if you’re not open can’t stay profitable if you’re paying people to be there but you’re not selling any food through the drive-thru nonetheless
Restaurant regularly has low reviews due to service food quality I live in the area decided to stop at this one as it’s on the way to where I’m going unfortunately can’t get anybody to take your order in person or in the Drive-Thru these days but they call it fast food.
Hopefully the local franchise owner will see this and address it there are plenty of people out there who will work versus stumbling through people who clearly don’t want to work.
I worked restaurants fast food and others nothing wrong with preparing to close 30 to 45 minutes early but you still stay open you have a good idea and understanding of what you may or may not need but you never know when someone’s going to roll through at 8:30 particularly when you’re located off a major freeway that goes cross country and want to get a 25 piece bucket given the fact you should be open another couple hours or even 20 more minutes you should make the food you should take the order you should do the job.
This is an owner and management issue…. They should roll through their own location one night blind try to get an order our park across the street at Hardee’s and watch What happens at your location and why it’s regularly not busy.
I pulled back around and told the employee at the window that they forgot my breast. She took the bag back — and I regret handing it over because I went against my better judgment. She returned the bag and asked if I needed anything else. I said no and drove off.
When I looked inside the bag again, there were now 2 legs and a breast — both wings were missing, and I had an extra leg instead. Frustrated, I got out of my truck to go inside, but the doors were locked. So, I walked back to the drive-thru window and explained the situation to a different employee. He gave me a strange look, so I showed him the box. He asked me to hold on and then handed me another box, which had only *one* wing inside. My order was still wrong.
At that point, I considered driving back around to ask for a refund, but I didn’t feel like dealing with it anymore. I was already upset — and to be honest, I was scared to eat the food. What if it had been dropped on the floor or mishandled? But, once again ignoring my instincts, I took the food home.
When I finally sat down to eat, I realized the mashed potatoes tasted off, and the chicken had a burnt flavor. I tried the wing and the leg, but both were nasty. I had to eat something else just to get the taste out of my mouth.
I usually visit this location to pick up food for my mom and have never had an experience like this. It was obvious that the nice manager (the one who usually runs things smoothly) wasn’t working today — because this was an absolute mess. I ended up wasting $15, and I’m beyond disappointed.
