Excellent, small, cozy… the food is very creative and tasted delicious. Paige at the bar was very hospitable and entertaining. We really enjoyed the evening.
We had the Bison medallions, lamb burger with blueberry and blue cheese, strawberry salad, a turkey sandwich, and pumpkin brulee. I would highly recommend all of these.

What an incredible dinner experience! The service was great (loved the Pirate theme!), the ambiance excellent, but what blew me away was the touch of genius behind the flavor combinations of food. The citrus scallops with vanilla risotto was a masterpiece, that made me slow down and inhale the scents before each bite. The risotto was cooked to perfection, slightly al dente. This is a dish that is not for everyone, as it is very nuanced, but excellently executed.
The amaretto infused cream over berries added the perfect finishing touch to the evening. Thank you for such a wonderful experience! We’ll visit again when we return to Colorado!

Just yes… a must stop and worth a trek from where ever you are. This place did not disappoint in any way shape or form. Everything from the food to the service was spectacular. We ordered the Beef rib plat that hit all the levels of excellence. The meet loaf was elevated to perfection and had me wanting to eat more. We also had the Salmon pork belly sandwich that worked so good. I never thought about pairing them but it was fantastic. We finished it off with the bread pudding which continued to show the same level of elevation that the rest of the dishes showed. We will absolutely be back here. Staff and servers were very friendly and knowledge about the dishes they served. A must visit if your in town.

We had a wonderful evening. The restaurant was full, so we sat at the best seat in the house, the bar. The bartender was so fun and made amazing cocktails. Did was yummy, too. We got the meatloaf and risotto. Would go again when in the area.

Amazing place! This has been on our go to list since they opened and we were not disappointed! They have a seasonal menu which is super cool, so some of our items may not be available when you go, but I have no doubt they’ll be replaced by equally amazing options.
All staff were incredibly friendly! We got the brie appetizer, shrimp plt sandwich, pork belly grilled cheese, bread pudding, and creme brulee. All were great portions, extremely tasty, and very reasonably priced for what they are! Expect 10-15 dollars per drink, which is also a pretty normal going rate in CO, and they were definitely above average and thoughtfully crafted drinks.
You’re missing out if you don’t go!

We came to Boards and Barrels yesterday for lunch on our way to Cripple Creek … for our 33rd wedding anniversary. We took forever to decide what to order because the menu is amazing. I want to eat my way through the entire menu. Probably can’t happen because they change the menu every couple months. We finally decided to share the Farmer Charcuterie board. It was beautiful when it arrived at the table. The selections on the board were absolutely not your typical meat and cheese board. Everything was incredibly prepared. The curry cauliflower was amazing and I want to make this at home and live on it. I’ve never seen my husband enjoy a blueberry and neither of us could get enough of the pickled blueberries … just incredible. Two different terrines … so delicious!! Just perfect! We loved it so much that we ditched plans for lunch at a different establishment today on our way home and returned for Sunday brunch. My husband had the sausage skillet and I had the crab, spinach and artichoke omelette. Both were so delicious.
Every member of the staff was polite, friendly and absolutely professional. The service honestly could not be better.
The prices were fair, better than a lot of places. And the portions are not small. The food is beautiful and soooo good.
I can’t wait to return!

Amazing addition to Woodland Park. We sat at the bar, and the bartender is awesome and super knowledgeable. I had the banana bread-inspired cocktail and the peach-inspired cocktail: both were incredibly nuanced and not too sweet, really fantastic drinks. They are also planning to open up the patio and extend the bar to make it more comfortable. This place is way better than Swiss Chalet, hands down . They also have a great dessert drink menu. To eat, we got one of the charcuterie boards, and it was actually very filling for two people. Our total bill came out to around $80 before tip, which is very reasonable for the quality of food and drinks, especially in this area.

Absolutely INCREDIBLE food. Everything we tried was out of this world amazing!
I had the bourbon ham & peach sandwich with the tomato soup, my husband tried the French onion sloppy Joe’s and we were both absolutely blown away! For dessert we tried the chocolate cake, which was next level divine! Do NOT skip this place next time you’re in woodland park!

Came with friends last night and everything was amazing! The staff were very friendly, atmosphere was warm and inviting and the food knocked it out of the park. Just when we thought we were full the dessert menu came out and suddenly we were hungry again. Highly recommend the homemade mango ice cream. We will be back again!
