Stayed in moncton for business. Found this place close to the hotel. First night I got take out. Bun Kao. It was so good all I could think about was going back for lunch the next day. I ordered the same thing the next day. Restaurant just opened when we arrived and it was cold inside. However the food came hot and was so good! I heard the person telling others we were on the trip with that they wish they knew the restaurant was there sooner because they would have had all their meals there. Will 100% go back and try something else from the menu.

Its so good! It made me nostalgic when i was staying in Toronto. I brought me back to my favorite pho restaurant in Spadina that tasted like home. 100/10!

I’ve now been here twice recently, and both visits made it clear the restaurant is severely understaffed.

On our last visit, there was only one waitress working the entire front of the restaurant. She was serving all dine-in tables, cleaning tables, handling takeout, and managing payments completely on her own. She was clearly overwhelmed but remained polite and did the best she could.

Several tables were dirty the entire time we were there — from when we arrived until when we left. Some had just been vacated as we were seated, others became dirty while we were eating, and none were cleaned before we paid and left. The dining room felt chaotic.

The waitress also had to run outside three separate times during our visit. We weren’t sure exactly why, but it appeared to be related to payment issues — something that shouldn’t fall on one person trying to run the entire front end alone.

The food was good — that’s the only reason this isn’t a one-star review.

The owner needs to do more. Proper staffing isn’t optional if you want to provide a decent customer experience. It’s not fair to the staff or the customers.

The fried rice was tasty and well prepared, definitely 5 stars. However, the attention was terrible, worth 0. The service was so disappointing that I almost felt they didn’t want to serve me.

I love the fried imperial roll the best, the chicken satay is just okay still not the same taste like in Singapore, Malaysia or Indonesia. The stir fried noodle is good too but not as good in Thailand. Overall the food , service and atmosphere is good

Ordered take out. Pad Thai – so flavorless and dry, with clumps of noodles and not a single peanut – couldn’t finish it. Lemongrass chicken – okay, not good, just okay, with some lemongrass flavor. It had lots of vegetables which was nice. Basil tofu – sweet sauce but ZERO basil. Satay had so little flavor and the watery peanut sauce did nothing to help. Also, a chewy Imperial roll that tasted of tough cabbage and was overall so bad, we threw it in the garbage. Everything was tasteless, thrown together without any care for the customer. First time here, will never go back. Very disappointing.

We came from PEI to shop for the day and I’m so happy we stopped in to Saigon Thai. We ordered a few dishes and everything we had was absolutely delicious- fresh, light, and flavourful. The Pad Thai was my favourite (good Thai restaurants don’t exist in PEI). Can’t wait to return next time we’re in Moncton!

My family tried this place out as it was the only place open around lunch time. Coming from Toronto if you’re used to what the GTA has to offer, the tonkinese soup is unfortunately a let down. Trying multiple dishes, the pad thai and Singapore noodles were actually pretty good. Little heavy on the salt but flavours are there. Staff were attentive and great to talk to. Would recommend the food if you just want a quick bite instead of fast food.

Ordered the traditional Pad Thai of course. Expensive to begin with. Taste wise it’s ok. Lacking slight flavour but not by much.
