I placed a catering order for an 8:45–9:00 a.m. pickup to make hosting my daughter’s birthday party easier. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing.
My husband arrived at 9:15 a.m., and the order was not ready. He waited 30 minutes while the staff prepared the order—two dozen plain bagels and two totes of coffee. After that half hour, he was told it would take another 30 minutes.
Because our two-hour party had already started, he left to come back to the party and returned half hour later to pick up the order. At that point, the staff told him that someone else had taken it. He then spoke with the manager, and they began remaking the order. He was told he would still need to wait for the coffee to brew. Eventually, the staff found two extra coffee totes (not sure it was the type we originally ordered), and he agreed to take those so he could make the party.
Instead of making the day easier, this catering order created significant stress. My husband missed a majority of our daughter’s two-hour party going back and forth. We didn’t have bagels or coffee until the very end. This was her first birthday celebration with friends, and what should have been a special day was overshadowed and unnecessarily stressful.

This is an absolute disrespect to me as a customer and a disgrace from the company. How on earth could someone think this is a bagel with cream. Darn near can’t even see the cream cheese. Just wasted money & I’d like a free bagel or 2 in return.

I was there for 25 minutes waiting for one bagel. This is totally not acceptable. They had a couple of orders, but they were not super busy. They were just in there talking to each other and taking their time on each bagel. With four people working there, I don’t know how it took 25 minutes for one bagel. With four people working, something needs to change because I come here every other week and it’s almost the same issue. also one more thing they made my sandwich so messy I might not be coming back there anymore tbh

Wow, just wow. Every single time they just can’t make a decent sandwich anymore. I was so excited this morning to try again and see if they’ve gotten any better. I got my go-to salmon bagel. Got the worst top cut of the onion, it looked like it had turned already and was turning to mush. They crushed the bagel so hard all that cream cheese came out the center, oh and barely any capers. But the tomato was fine. Yeah I don’t know. Never again.

Bruegger’s has always been my families favorite spot. Ever since it was taken over by a new GM the place has been incredible. Great service, friendly faces, and amazing bagels. They are always so good! Anytime I come to the cities to visit family I always stop here for a bakers dozen and it brightens up each morning for my families ❤️

Personally I am not into corporate with their E.S.G. scores, however, the employees completely made up for the Covid signs on the tables.

We placed an online order and went to the store to pick it up. After waiting for 20 minutes, our order was still not ready. When we inquired with the staff member handling online orders, she rudely told us to track all online orders ourselves. We waited until the cashier was available after serving all the customers in line. When we checked with him about our order, he couldn’t find it on the shelf. After checking further, he informed us that our order hadn’t arrived. We ended up waiting for almost 45 minutes. I was disappointed by the staff member’s behavior, especially since she yelled at us initially. If the cashier had simply checked and informed us that the order wasn’t received, we could have either left or placed a new order. The interaction left a negative impression and spoiled my morning. I believe customer service should be handled with respect and professionalism, regardless of the situation.

I want to commend whomever is managing this store now. It had been a month or better since I was in. The new staff is friendly fast and there was plenty of help. They even had smiles. The place is also cleaner that it was just a short time ago. Happy to see it returning to the nice place to eat it once was.

Herby Turkey on Rosemary Olive Oil bagel. It’s a great sandwich. The employee taking our order was friendly. The entire order was correct. I miss living near a Bruegger’s.
