We enjoyed our dinner and especially the cocktails. Our server was nice but still learning the menu so she wasn’t much help with recommendations. The food was served very quickly and was nicely plated. The portions are large. The complimentary chips and salsa were very good. Salsa verde and basic salsa served with both chili and plain tortilla chips. The cocktails were delicious. Watermelon margarita and blackberry basil margarita were excellent.

Despite the exceptional quality of the food, I encountered an unfortunate situation upon my arrival at 8:30 pm. The female server specifically instructed me to expedite my order, citing the kitchen’s closing time at 8:45 pm. While I felt rushed, I still left a 20 percent tip. Typically, I avoid engaging in arguments or creating a scene, so I refrained from expressing my dissatisfaction. My primary objective was to provide a positive dining experience for my family.
As the evening progressed, I observed that individuals continued to be seated and order food, despite the fact that it was 9:20 pm. This situation deeply angered me. I had recommended this restaurant to several friends, and unfortunately, they also experienced negative service. One of my friends shared a similar sentiment, stating that while the food was exceptional, the service was subpar. In my opinion, Advocados Cocina Mexicana & bar offers a superior dining experience. This will be the final time I visit that establishment, and I will also refrain from recommending it to anyone. It is genuinely embarrassing. I hope ownership or management takes action !!!

We’ve visited Casa Blanca a couple of times for lunch—once shortly after they opened and again a few weeks later. The highlight is definitely the ambiance and most of the food offerings, with the exception of the esquites, which was simply boiled corn and lacked flavor.

The service felt a bit disorganized. We were often unsure who our server or bartender was, as multiple people would assist us, making communication somewhat scattered. That said, the owner was kind enough to introduce himself and personally address our concerns, which we appreciated.

Overall, we had a great time. The margaritas were a solid 10/10, and aside from the esquites, the food was very enjoyable.

I rate restaurants using my own 100-point rubric that covers service, cleanliness, food quality, value, atmosphere, and accessibility. Casablanca scored a 75/100 overall.

Service was excellent—our server was polite, attentive, and professional, giving us a great first impression. The place is clean and new, though the paper menus need replacing; one was so dirty my wife had to ask for another.

Appetizers were the highlight—chicharron and bacon-wrapped jalapeño poppers were both excellent and a good value. The entrees, however, were disappointing. My wife’s churrasco was a tough, chewy cut, and my birria ramen was just okay for the price, with poor meat quality despite ordering medium-rare. Handmade tortillas were a nice touch, and chips with the first salsa are free (refills cost extra).

Atmosphere is where Casablanca shines—well-decorated, lively, and perfect for large parties, with a massive LCD display that makes it a fun place to gather. Drinks were solid. Overall, the restaurant feels slightly expensive for what you get.

One major miss: no baby changing station in either restroom, which made things inconvenient for our 7-month-old and had to be changed in the car.

Authenticity with a “MODERN” flare. This is one of the most well designed Mexican restaurants on this side of the SkyWay Bridge. Been on the hunt for something that reminds you of the culture and flavors the Mexican cuisine so beautifully has to offer. Look no further, with more than a fair share to choose from. The vibe is felt the moment you walk through the doors. Greeted by an amazing front desk staff. All the way up to the servers, all willing to treat you like family.

Jenny made the perfect suggestion when it came to the entree. Quesa Birria Tacos come in a set of 3, with a side of Spanish rice and the sauce to dip your tacos in was delicious! Of course you can’t go without dessert and it wouldn’t be authentic without the churros. Filled with their own flavor and a lovely chocolate sauce! Can’t forget ice cream on the side as well.

If your looking for a place to celebrate I recommend stopping in and letting them know you are there to celebrate. You will be in for a treat you won’t forget! Look around you just might find the specific Tequila you are looking for! Will for sure be coming back and trying something different next time!

The ambiance and decor are really cool and way over the top. They put a ton of money into this renovation but it feels somewhat out of place in this location of Bradenton. The chips are fried so they are better than the traditional colored chip. The trio dips (queso, salsa, and creamy style guac) were all good, it is $4 for any extra chips. I usually don’t eat guac but this creamy version I didn’t mind. Try the homemade habanero sauce if you want spicy! Tacos al pastor were juicy unlike some other places that can be dry. Crispy chicken tacos were nothing special and I wanted them traditional “gringo” style with lettuce, cheese, pico but the server was confused and didn’t know how they were served. The beans were not the usual refried beans as it was more a cheesy white bean but I enjoyed them. Rice was not dry. We went for lunch so dinner pricing would be even higher. Overall, the menu is extensive and pricey. I think they could cut the menu in half and try to drop some prices or I think they will have a hard time surviving in Bradenton unfortunately.

Let’s start with what’s good. If you like a louder (Dj Music), higher end feel tequila bar then you might like this place. Everything else is just so so. We were seated quickly and then ended up moving to the bar after ordering margaritas (we did let our server know).

Sat at the bar and explained the situation to the bar tender who was a bit confused and didn’t seem to fully understand what was happening. The bar around us was dirty and I had to wipe it myself since the bartender didn’t offer. We got our margaritas which were actually pretty good (flakka margarita and the black mamba) I would’ve ordered another one if the service would’ve been better. We had to ask for a menu since we didn’t get one. Ordered the esquites and carnitas fajitas. Food came out quickly and the bartender came and asked us how things were going. We had to tell her we needed plates and silverware and she’s like “oh right” and scurries away. Didn’t give us time to say we also didn’t get tortillas.

The esquites were supposed to be grilled corn…it’s not. It’s just boiled corn with mayo and spicy seasoning on it. Do not recommend at all. The fajitas flavor was good and a good portion but they only gave us 3 tortillas so I ended up just eating the remaining fajita mix on top of chips. The rice and beans that came with it were also cold. I would’ve asked for more tortillas but they charge extra for more chips so I don’t want to have an extra charge for another tortilla. A second drink was also never offered and nor was water the entire time we sat at the bar (finished our drinks about halfway through dinner).

Overall I was very disappointed in the service and the food being ok just doesn’t make up for that. If they were extremely busy or overworked I would be a bit more lenient but there were ample employees for the number of patrons. I might order the fajitas to go next time. I’m willing to give it another try and will update my review next time.

A nice new eatery in Bradenton! The tomatillo salsa with the table chips were sooooo good. The birria dumpling appetizer is a must! Also, the sweet plantains were perfectly crisp and sweet and that dipping sauce I’d slather on everything! We also really enjoy the stuffed yuca and tamales. We basically had an entire meal of appetizers and enjoyed them all.

Really fun atmosphere and decor. Great date spot!

Service is still working out kinks. Attitudes, knowledge, and experience of the staff could be improved.

We will return! Really good food and convenient location.

I wanted to love it . Atmosphere is great, landscaping beautiful but a bit too loud inside you have the scream almost over the music.
The staff are very attentive. Food was ok but expensive. Steak was chewy- house made tortillas were a home run very good. I’d give it a try for some other menu items. Menu is extensive almost too big.

We recently visited Casablanca with a group of 15, and while the food was outstanding, the service left much to be desired. From the start, the server didn’t introduce herself, and we never learned her name. Throughout the meal, our drinks were never refilled, and the server was inattentive. Additionally, she displayed attitude towards us multiple times, which was quite disappointing. Despite spending around $35-$45 per person, the experience was dampened by the poor service. We hope the management takes note, as the delicious food truly deserves better service.
