I ordered something basic and it came out ridiculously fast.

Food was hot, delicious, and cooked well. Portions were generous. Beef was tender.

Very pleased with experience.

Idk how the rating is so high for this place because the food is sooo mid and they have an unwelcoming attitude. I’ve been twice and tried to give it a chance but have been disappointed with the quality both times.

The second time I went they also charged me different prices than what was on the menu stating “price increases”. About a $3 difference. Which wasn’t worth it all. Almost $16 for some white rice and chicken is crazy.

I won’t be back.

A few bites of everything and there’s not a single thing here that I want to keep eating. The breading on the chicken is chewy and tasteless – like it was frozen, reheated and tossed in sauce. Stale.
The rice is under seasoned and extremely oily (derogatory).
The “pan fried” pot stickers and limp, rubbery, and have very little taste to them. Also were ice cold in the middle, leads me to again believe nothing here is made even remotely fresh. Save your money.

As a note, this was a delivery order so I can expect some change in temperatures and quality, but this far exceeds what would be normal for “delivery quality”

So I’ve been to Szechuan corner twice. Had kung pao chicken both times cuz I figure well. Let’s see how consistent they are. The food is very good. And the lunch special, including an appetizer and bowl of soup for a little under $14 is still a pretty good deal. Don’t go for the ambiance as you’ll see in the picture. It’s just blue painted walls and basic tables. But they do a ton of takeout. Now please understand this isn’t gourmet Chinese food. This is quick. Serve fast Chinese food. I believe it’s all made to order and it comes out piping hot and tastes great.

Update: My first visit was definitely a positive one but after ordering delivery many times, some of the food I ordered left me disappointed. Some food like chicken (general tso, seasme) and fried rice came very dry, overcooked. There was another time when the noodles came uncooked and it almost broke into little pieces. I don’t know if the chef changed but I hope there is some consistency in the food quality.

This place has a high rating for a reason. They use good ingredients, the staff is very nice, food+restaurant is clean, and food like spicy dry pot Szechuan style is pretty authentic. After trying it out today, I feel more confident to try dishes with duck and lamb next time which means it left a nice impression on us. Definitely recommend to anyone living around the area.

It’s at a large quiet parking lot. The atmosphere is more of a take out restaurant but I did not mind eating there because it was clean and the staff does his best to take good care of you.

I wanted to like this place! But it was really bland – granted, I order like an American and I’m sure that makes a difference. But the chicken arrived soggy because they put it in plastic, the egg roles had zero flavor, and the fried rice was sweet with bland chicken. The hot mustard was SO GOOD, though.

This spot is primarily for takeout, so dining in wasn’t the best experience, as service was minimal. The food was decent, though the options were limited and nothing stood out above what you’d find at an average Sichuan place. The garlic pea pods were a solid choice, though.

Hi hello, how are you back again with another restaurant and another review szechuan corner I’ve ben working next to these guys as neighborsthe a cross the street of Ashland Diversy for like almost 5 years never ever visited that Chinese restaurant until one rider came with me as an Uber rider and she told me that the best Chinese food is szechuan The food looks amazing. Awesome taste more than delicious. the lamb is a go to tender melt in the mouth. The chicken is good bit dry, but I really do have something to say to the owner. If he or she reading this review number one please train that beautiful girl on the casher bit more training let her gain more confident but she did a good job taking my order. She missed it a little bit, but it’s OK I understand and she did really good job taking the order of the lady after me and also please I am not a carb eater I don’t eat rice and I specifically says I don’t want rice because I’m gonna throw it away and this is God‘s grace. We can’t throw it away so I’m gonna eat it in different times so could you please next time take care of the order the soup is delicious. I ordered it with the egg. I asked dad if it’s cooked she said yes did not find the egg. if the owner takes care of this little details, it could be the next panda express or the Chinese version of chipotle

Disappointing meal, below average Chinese takeout experience. My girlfriends beef and broccoli was grey and just tasted like everything was boiled. Sesame chicken was soggy and bland. Rice was clumpy and hard. Crab Rangoons were pretty good. Can’t recommend based on this experience.

Delicious and a great addition to the neighborhood! They are so friendly too. We tried the crab rangoon, Szechuan wontons, beef chow fun, house special spicy lamb, orange chicken, and chicken fried rice. They included coconut and mango pudding for dessert. The homemade sweet and sour and chili oil are delicious. We will definitely make ordering from here a regular thing! I love spicy dishes and can’t wait to try more dishes!
