The Massaman Curry with the short rib is exquisite. Generous portions. Fast and friendly service. The whole restaurant is very clean and has a super pleasant ambience as well as beautiful decor. Their Thai iced tea is also perfect. Will definitely be back.

Nice bright restaurant serving a variety of good Thai cuisines that can be customized to your taste at reasonable prices.

The stir fry dishes we got (Buddha Delight and Sweet Basil Pumpkin) had fresh vegetables that were cooked just right: nothing mushy; nothing raw. The glass noodles were very flavorful, too.

This may be the best kept secret in SD! I was astonished to be able to get an appetizer, two entrees, and multiple beverages for under $70 before tip. Everything was delicious, service was fabulous, and it is a really cute space. Honestly, we came here because the wait was too long at our intended destination, and this place was super close by, and I so glad we did not go there and came here instead! A really happy accident that resulted in one of the best meals during our time in SD!!! Highly, highly recommend!!!

The eggplant stir fry was great. The panang and green curry were flavorful.

Some bees and flies when we visited since the place is not closed, which was annoying.

Great staff.

We had lunch here and really enjoyed it! The service was attentive, and the menu offers plenty of options. You can also choose your preferred spice level. I had the salmon curry, and it was my first time trying that combo. Surprisingly, it worked really well! A nice spot for a flavorful meal with good variety.

We had dinner at What the Health! I have celiac disease and had no issues at all — their gluten-free options are clearly marked on the menu, which made ordering super easy and stress-free.

I had the yellow curry and the zucchini pad Thai. The curry was very good. The pad Thai was good too, though a bit too sweet for our taste.

All curry dishes are gluten-free by default, and many of the noodle, fried rice, and stir-fried dishes can be made gluten-free and vegan upon request (as noted on the menu). Just let your server know — the staff was friendly and knowledgeable.

They also offer gluten-free desserts like mango sticky rice, which is such a treat!

Would definitely come back again — great flavors, safe gluten-free options, and a chill atmosphere.

Been here a few times now with friends. The food is always good but tonight the Pad Thai Zucchini was too watery. The other dishes were very good. Service is friendly and quick.

This is my second time dining here. The food is great, but unfortunately the service hasn’t been consistent. During my first visit, it took quite a while just to get water and place my order, and then I waited over 40 minutes for my food even though it wasn’t busy. I ordered the Pad Thai with shrimp, which was delicious and the main reason I decided to return.

On this visit, I ordered the Pad Thai again and wanted to try the crispy chicken rolls. I asked for lettuce on the side (which crispy rolls are usually served with & even mint), and was told there would be a $2–$3 upcharge. I found that pretty unreasonable, as I’ve never been charged for adding lettuce anywhere, even when it’s not originally included.

I’m honestly unsure if I’ll return, which is disappointing because I did enjoy the food. However, the service issues and upcharge for something so simple really took away from the experience.

I know I know, it’s weird but yeah this is the first time I’m having Thai Food. And you know what, I loved. Was on a fitness walk yesterday and literally passed by What De Health Thai and the aromas coming from here were simply phenomenal. I knew I had to try. Happy I came. Ambiance and peaceful, lots of breeze, and the food is perfectly made. We shared the shrimp dumplings, the Tai chicken fried rice and the crispy chicken rolls. The sauces were exquisite. Will be back!
