My family and I decided to try the $8 Cheeseburger combo. The burger patties were cooked just right and the texture was excellent. The bun was also tasty. The burger build was also great. I will say that I was very disappointed in the amount of tator tots that came with my meal. I know for the next visit to order fries as my side. The other meal had fries and I realized quickly, I had made the wrong choice. Looking forward to our next visit.

The atmosphere from the time you walk through the door is amazing. Very clean place inside and out. We were greeted with a smile and was ask if we had been here before. Dorian’s excitement giving us the tour of the menu was enough to make me want to try everything! She was was very friendly and enthusiastic! This lady cares about her customers.

My husband and I stopped by for lunch for the first time and had a great experience! He ordered a custom burger and said it was cooked perfectly. I had the chili dog, which was really good and so big I couldn’t even finish it!
Dorian was friendly, patient, and very helpful while taking our order since it was our first time visiting. It’s refreshing to see that some people still understand what quality customer service looks like.

I ordered a couple of garden burgers, a shake, fries, and cheese curds. The burgers were delicious and of decent size. The fries and cheese curds were fresh and tasty. The red velvet milkshake was thick and perfect!

The staff was friendly the order taker was definitely new and needed help with every transaction for some reason or another but everyone needs to learn.
Ordered a classic $8 and double bacon $10 burger. They were delicious and fresh as advertised. The cheese curds $5 tasted yummy but didn’t seem like very many were given for the price. Bacon cheese fries was a better helping had some cheese melted on top the fries seemed normal nothing special. A pair of Chocolate milkshakes to finish it off they were pretty good. Overall friendly staff, seemed costly but thankful for a new burger place to visit in Waxhaw.

My first time here. The burgers were fairly small compared to other burger places but they’re tasty. I ordered onion rings but they were cold when i got home 5 minutes later. I know this is a new location so i will be going back in a few months to see if they have things straightened out. I’m hopeful.

Didn’t wow me given all the other choices. The Cajun tater tots and cheese curds were better than the burgers. Not bad, but not great either, won’t hurry back. Service was slow… 3 people trying to fix a milk shake syrup dispenser with 5 people waiting for food.

I really enjoyed my visit to Wayback Burgers! The burgers were fresh, juicy, and clearly made with hand-formed patties — a nice change from the usual fast-food fare. The milkshakes looked amazing (I didn’t try one this time, but definitely will on my next visit!). If you’re craving a tasty, old-fashioned burger, give Wayback Burgers a try — it shouldn’t disappoint!

My husband and I decided to eat here. He got the double bacon and I got the classic. Burgers are fresh meat for sure. Not much taste in the meat itself, seasonless. Two patties for someone like me is a bit much, so best to create your own burger for a lighter appetite. Skip the ranch, unless you like bottled dressings. The chipotle mayo is great! The cheese curds are tasteless, don’t waste your money. The chili cheese hotdogs look phenomenal we may be back to try those!
