I’m from Michigan and was visiting Philly, but wanting some good pizza from NJ before going home. I hopped over to Camden just to go to this place, and it was great. The guys working there are nice, the food was made timely, and it was the best pizza (and hoagie) I’ve ever had. The best pizza in Philly. Crust, sauce, and toppings are all delicious. I am 43 years old and have had a lot of pizza from up and down the east coast and this is the best NY pizza I have ever had. I also got chef and side salads and the ingredients where fresher than the grocery store; you would swear that the owner has a vegetable garden. The pepperoni was amazing on the pizza, you can’t buy pepperoni like that.

The man at the front register touching money then touching the food with his bare hands without washing his hands he does rub hand sanitizer but money can have traces of harmful chemicals that hand sanitizer cannot remove but I will say my cousins still ate the pizza and their experience was satisfying the pizza is good

The first time I stopped by A Little Slice of New York was about 6–8 months ago, completely by chance. I was passing through Camden on my way home to Burlington when I noticed the spot and decided to give it a try. I ordered two slices, and to my surprise, the gentleman behind the counter gave me two extra—four slices total, no questions asked. Not only that, but they were incredibly kind to my 4-year-old son, which always leaves a lasting impression.
Fast forward to April 1st, 2025—I’ve just moved to the Central Waterfront neighborhood, just a few blocks away from the shop. I called ahead and placed an order for a half pepperoni, half cheese pizza about 20 minutes before closing. When I arrived, both guys working were just as warm and friendly as I remembered. I shared my experience from months back, and one of them smiled and said, “Go ahead and grab a 2L soda—welcome to the neighborhood.” That small gesture? It honestly made my night.
And the pizza? Absolutely top-tier. Flavorful, cheesy, just the right amount of crisp on the crust—and speaking of the crust, I actually ate it, which I never do. That says a lot.
This place isn’t just serving great pizza—they’re building community with every slice. It’s the kind of neighborhood spot that makes you feel right at home. I’ll be supporting this business for as long as I’m here!
