Sharpen up your Spanish speaking skills because this authentic place is worth it! I love ordering Honduran breakfasts for breakfast, lunch, or dinner! So many other items to select from the menu. The owners are present a lot and they are friendly, including their staff. Have an adult beverage or enjoy a cafe’ con leche. This is the perfect place to hang out and catch up with friends & family. Buen provecho!

If you are in this area and are looking for a latin experience, you have to try this place. Honduras is mixture of Mayan cuisine and afro-carrebean, unique to only in honduras Try the baleada, a hand-made tortilla, not compared to any Mexican or Central American country. This is filled with beans, honduran cream, hard cheese and avocado. There typical breakfast is so much food for the price and there cafe con Leche (Cafe au lait) is on point. New Orleans is truly a cuisine paradise and this place is definitely a comeback.

My most favorite Honduran restaurant…..someone Abuela definitely in the kitchen back there!! Carne Asada, Fried Tilipia, Honduran Tacos, Pastelito w/ Maiz and Garlic Shrimp. Every birthday my mom visits from NYC and ask to eat at this restaurant. Best Honduran in Louisiana!

I order the fajita mix and apparently they gave me veggie fajitas I literally got 3 piece of chicken, 3 piece of steak and 2 shrimp. I order a side of fries for my son, apparently they decided to dump it in cold oil and leave all the oil after taking it out 4 minutes after. The tortilla were big. I believe this tortilla were for bailadas. The service was horrible too. I’m never coming back to a place so disgusting. If I can put negative 100 I would.

They pretend not to understand English in order to refuse service. I’ve seen them take spanish orders while purposely ignoring English speaking customers who were waiting prior.

I placed a simple order for chicken quesadilla. And I only got cheese.

Another time, ive placed order in English and when arrived to pick up 30 minutes later, they claimed to “never got the order” and had to wait an additional 30 minutes.

The fries are oil soaked. The bar tenders are more focused on flirting for tips with the desperate men than taking new orders, especially in english.

I work at the massive apartments down the street and have told hundreds of people about my experiences. They would rather serve Spanish only, which is discriminatory so I’ll continue to inform all my new residents…. avoid la Costa

Excellent food! No power, but the show must go on! Impressed that they served us while having to cook by lamp-light. I noticed some poor reviews here, mostly complaining about service, but in my experience, if the people hardly speak english, you are getting the authentic experience. The service was great. Bring a Spanish speaker if you’re worried about it.

I was really hoping for a good experience but that didn’t happen. I’m standing at the front of the line to place my to go order when I was told for no apparent reason that they were going to wait on others before helping me. I pointed out I’m first and had been waiting for about 10 minutes. When I inquired why, I wasn’t given a direct answer and the employee continued to be rude to me. So, I left, got in my car and called to place my order. The situation got worse. I was hung up on. I called back again and was told they ran out of food that’s on the menu. Very disappointing experience!

Went in here because it’s new. Did not know what to expect. I’ve never had Honduran food before. This restaurant turned out to be the most pleasant surprise in a long time. The food is FANTASTIC!! All fresh, no commissary food in this place. I will definitely be back!

Absolutely AMAZING new Honduran restaurant! We went at the recommendation of our daughter and her friend, and we were completely caught off guard when we walked in. The restaurant is airy, spotlessly clean, and the staff is really friendly. I had the Pollo Frito Costeno and my wife had Burritas; every bite of each dish put a big smile on our faces. We ate, laughed, and stayed a while after just relishing the atmosphere. 5 stars, 4 thumbs up, and we agree that this has now been added to our rotation of regular stops.
