FAV Carson bar everytime i visit. Longtime L. Vegan here. VERY WIDE Variety of drinks for a place this size! Also very dog friendly:3 in one evening along with Canadian hockey players Anda gal turning 21! I pkd the rite nite to visit. Decent prices. Efficient barmaid Christina….. and very Reg. Britney…. Hmmm.

Incredible selection of liquors! The staff is the most knowledgeable in Carson City if not northern Nevada. Prices are reasonable and the pool tables are straight and true!

This review is specifically about the conduct of one bartender, not the establishment itself. During my visit, the bartender shared my tab and tip amount with other intoxicated patrons. This led to public comments and an uncomfortable, humiliating situation. Regardless of the amount, a customer’s tab and tip should remain private. I attempted to address this privately afterward but did not receive a response. I hope this is addressed internally, as discretion and professionalism are essential in this industry.

I went and got a Picon Punch, which I learned recently became the state drink of Nevada!
The drink was good, and they had many good offerings, but it seemed like a very local centric bar (which is not a bad thing!)
It just means that me, as a traveler, was not able to meet people like I would like. Also it was harder to get service bc the bartender was with their friends.
This all does make sense, since I was recommended this place by a local. So if you are from Carson City, I would check it out!

This place, without provocation, refused drinks to my husband. My husband visited this establishment for the second time, first time no issues, and was approached by (what can only be explained as) the local woman who always attends the bar. After refusing her many advances (which included purchasing flight of shots and attempting to have him purchase it for and her partner), the bar tender said he wasn’t serving him drink. Low and behold, she and he were at the end of the bar. If this bar plays into small town politics like it did this evening (local woman who often visit this establishment enough to get her way constantly), run. Don’t visit this place. There is NO reason to refuse my husband the opportunity for a drink, based on a woman who can’t get her act together. We are new locals, we have connections, and we plan on alerting who we know, of how this establishment and bar tender acted. The other bars knew of this lady, and Jimmy G accepted my husband in with open arms after this. GO THERE!!! Or go to Carson Cigar Bar!
