I recently stumbled across this bakery and was very pleased with the quality, cleanliness, and service. The gentleman who waited on us was very friendly and the store, bakery, and lounge were calm and inviting.
My husband and I sampled a wide variety of baked treats. Everything was on-point and authentic to what we’d experienced in panaderia on the West Coast. I especially enoyed the conchas and “rock” buns. The latter were moister than typical buns I”ve had before and had a touch of vanilla. These were delicious with coffee.
We got our baked goods as takeout, but they have a beautiful seating area and a coffee bar for people to eat in. We also picked up some packaged snacks and I noted the frozen and refrigerated food for future eats. We were told they serve meals on Wednesdays so we’ll be back to try that. This is just a lovely little spot and well worth a visit.

Delicious bakery, unique treats. I had what I would describe as a cheese horn, not quite a cannoli or cheese danish but in that general category. It was really good. Others had a very flaky fruit treat, a corn muffin with perfect texture, a concha-like roll and a frosted donut. Everyone enjoyed their food.
We visited midafternoon. The coffee was cold, but they made a fresh pot while we were there. It is not a coffee shop in the Starbucks sense. Just brewed coffee and a sugar bowl, self-serve.
A small selection of hot sauces and snacks are also available.

My husband and I purchased two large individual baked goods, and our total was $5.00 USD. In the picture, I had already eat half of the pastry with buttercream. The square is a marble (chocolate & vanilla) piece of cake. Love that this bakery is here in an eastern suburb of Pittsburgh! They are located in the same plaza as Meglio’s Pizza in Garden City, a neighborhood in Monroeville. This shop is on the longer part of the plaza. Definitely worth checking out!

Absolutely wonderful, authentic food!!! I can’t say enough good things and I will definitely be returning. They are a bakery primarily, but also had some of the best carnitas I’ve had in the US honestly. The owners were also super friendly and I got good vibes inside the bakery. I would definitely recommend goIng out of your way to visit Dulce Amor.
