I was very disappointed to open my taco and see sand which cheese on it with some type of chili. Those are things you are supposed to let sown one know before purchasing. Also it barely had chicken on the tacos

I’ve been eating Bill’s since I was a kid in the 60’s. The food is still as good as it was when I was a child. While of course it’s not the original owner (Bill Silva), his recipe has been maintained.

Ordered two veggie tacos with lettuce, tomato, avocado, and sour cream on crunchy hard shells. The tacos lacked flavor and were a little too bland for me. I added a little bit of the spicy sauce on each taco to spice the tacos up a bit, but the tacos were still not as good as I would have expected. The customer service was good and the tacos were made rather quickly after I ordered considering there were a few people in front of me waiting for their orders. This place is more of a pick-up location even though there are tables set up along the windows for dine-in customers. This is not a restaurant I would recommend for Vegetarians.

Always down for new taco spots. Especially with a twist.
Area: located in south central near Manchester and western. It is located in a shopping center on the right side. It’s hard to miss it.
Parking: has its own parking lot in front. Free parking always has plenty of parking.
Diner: it very small inside the location. has like 3 tables and all window seats.
Food: i was undecisive about what i wanted to get, so the person at the register told me to get the trio plate. In consist of 1 enchiladas, 1 hardshell taco, and 1 tamal. Everything comes covered in a house gravy sauce. Very sweet. Unfortunately, my tamal tasted very dry, even with the sauce on top. The hardshell taco was good 7/10, and enchiladas was missing something spicy. That’s just my personal opinion. Definitely something different compared to your traditional tacos.
Service: over counter ordering. Nice and well informed.
Price: for the trio plate plus drink was around 20 bucks. Can’t complain about that price.
Definitely recommend trying at least once. Not your ordinary Mexican food.

The consistency of meat in the tacos is not always solid. I’m wondering if they are using fillers in the meat. It sometimes is kind of mushy. The taste is pretty much the same. I’d rather pay more for the tacos with less filler or whatever is being used.

Love Bill’s Taco House. My mom and family been going to Bill’s (The Original Bills) before I was born. We now go to this Bill’s. Same great taste. Glad this place is still open and still thriving after all these years. Bill’s legacy still continues. Customer service is wonderful. The neighborhood is quiet everytime I visit.

I’ve been coming Bill’s with my parents since I was a child when it was on Santa Barbara, which is now Martin Luther king boulevard.I will never stop eating those tacos.I love the patties as opposed to ground beef and I love the gravy. Both the patty and gravy add such a different flavor profile and texture.
